I contacted the manufacturer and they instructed me to exchange it at Gotham Vapor Lounge, where it was purchased and they would compensate them back. I took it back to the shop and asked for an exchange. The salesperson there told me they would not be able to exchange it even though the manufacturer approved the exchange and even though their receipt explicitly states that they would exchange defective products within the warranty period. After going back and forth with the salesperson, he told me " at the end of the day, someone has to take the loss", and then proceeded to try and sell me another $100+ mod kit. Absolutely appalling! If you are looking for a place that stands behind the products that they sell, look elsewhere!

Akash (spelling?) is usually the cashier and Santiago seems like backup and has made my sandwich every time. What is the #1 thing I love about the way he makes my sandwiches? The fact that he washes his hands thoroughly for the mandated 20 seconds. Both guys are really cool. All it takes is a smile and asking their names to start developing that cool regular/neighborly connection with them. The sandwiches are better than expected. I always get the regular turkey (sliced on the spot, yas!) with lettuce, onion, pickles, cheese (yaaaaaas!) mayo and mustard, salt and pepper and I think they have oil and vinegar too! You can get what seems like a 10-12" sandwich and a can of soda for about $7 bucks. Better than anything I could get at 711 past midnight!
