When I finally wrote him and asked what was happening, this was his response. "good afternoon.I apologize a thousand times, and the truth is I forgot. I'm usually very punctual. About 5 months later, I started getting some pretty horrible warping on the exterior siding they had painted for me. Here I am, almost a year later, and they haven't fixed anything like they said they would, and even worse I have been ghosted by the OWNER of the company and have had no response what so ever in over two months. More detailed story below if you are interested in reading more information on how they have handled the situation. Overall, they could care less about me now that they have my money and have no desire in fixing something they ruined. Very unfortunate. These issues didn't come up years later, literally within months I have all sorts of issues with the work they performed. Full Story : Before having the siding on my home painted by Painter1, I worked with an employee who gave me the bid and managed the entire painting process. I asked him a million times about warping or any other issues that could come from painting siding. He assured me over and over that I have NOTHING to worry about and if an issue came up, they would be sure to fix it. I painted my house in the spring, and by the end of the summer, one of my exterior walls has completely warped. I also have other areas that are starting to show he same signs of future warping. Conrad, the owner of Painter1 Utah County, paid me a visit when I sent some pictures in to ask for them to come take a look at the warping. This was about 5 months after the painting of the house was complete. Conrad took pictures, said that maybe it's because it was a west facing wall that sees more sun, but he wasn't sure and wanted to talk to some experts. Weeks went by and I had to reach out for an update. He said none of his 'experts' have been able to pinpoint what might have gone wrong. Then he kept asking how old my siding was. I told him I wasn't sure as I was not the original owner of the house nor did I put the siding up. He said I needed to find that out first before he would fix my issues. To me, the age of the siding doesn't matter after all of the assurances and promises made by their own employees. I believe my siding is around 15 years old, but before Painter1 got their hands on it, was in absolutely fantastic condition! Now, I am left with a large exterior wall of my house completely warped, other signs around the home of possibly warping as well, and an OWNER of a company that won't even call/email me back in over 2 months after telling me they would remedy the situation. I understand mistakes happen, and I am an extremely patient person, but this is unacceptable. I have no desire to ever work with this company again and I hope I can deter as many people as possible away from Painter1 so they don't end up with the same results as I do. Again, I totally understand mistakes are made, but it's how those mistakes are handled that reflect the true nature of a business. If they would've just simply fixed their mistake and lived up to their promises made from day 1, I would've been a satisfied customer. Thanks for proving to me that you are not a business that is interested in your customers satisfaction, but only collecting money and moving onto the next customer.

One of the biggest parts of this project was staining the new handrails and banisters to match our existing flooring.
