Big box stores and nursery chains are always going to be cheaper because of their massive buying power, but they rarely offer much personalized service and the plants are often neglected. A very capable gentleman at Weber's walked all around the property with us showing us some options for the screening we needed. Everything we bought looked healthy and has adapted to its new location. Couldn't ask for more.

A wonderful young man came out to see if I needed anything and was very knowledgeable about trees and all things gardening. He was an ideal business person and I am looking forward to returning today with pics of my tree so he can help me identify what it is and help with companion planting. As I wandered other areas like their green house and market, other associates were super friendly and also very helpful. The lovely aromas of fresh produce and baked goods coming from their shop was so tempting! I resisted but plan on picking up a pie today when I return. Although it was just a recon mission yesterday, I didn't leave empty handed as they actually had some FREE perennials which I was thrilled about. Better pricing than big box sometimes kinda special. I also use them exclusively for my mulch which is priced so much better than even the 5 bag for $10 that you see often if you have your own trailer/pickup to haul off without a delivery fee. Such a cool little hidden gem in Middletown! I didn't even know this place existed…read more I don't really know what to call Surreybrooke but it is a beautiful manor with grounds, a garden center, and venue area. The manor is marked as private even though it is visible from other parts of the property. You can definitely see the growth of the plants over the decades of time but this is something so unusual to see in this area and that in itself is truly spectacular. Take 20 minutes to stroll through this place, you may find that you end up staying a bit longer.
