The children's section is well stocked and invites young readers to engage with the space and materials. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. While the library is on the smaller side, materials can be brought in from other SCPL locations and online materials (ebooks, audiobooks, documentaries etc) are available through various apps like Libby and Kanopy.

It doesn't necessarily make things easier but you do feel like your superior to the troglodytes that are milling around in our libraries. Now, onto La Selva Beach library: this is such a cute little barn/library and occasional remote office. It's not swanky but we can work outside on the patio. WiFi is great out here and it's just a few hundred yards from the beach. Sunsets in #LaSelva are pretty when viewed from atop the cliffs that look over Manressa State Beach. Believe that.

Every time I've been to the satellite office I'm always greeted with a smile and a friendly attitude. The employees are not only very pleasant but very knowledgeable about the enrollment process and any forms that you might need to fill out and submit. There are small tables for currently enrolled students and prospective students to use in the lobby. There are computers to use to sign up for classes in the lobby and in the student services department. The lines for assistance are usually shorter at the satellite office that they are the main campus. I like that... It's a quick in and out process. If you're looking to further your education... Cabrillo college is a good community college choice and a good place to begin. I highly recommend that you use the Watsonville satellite office for enrollment if you live in that area!

I knew in advance that on Thursdays (2nd & 4th weeks only), the public street parking in front of the building was off limits for street sweeping/no parking between 7am-11am, so I got very lucky pulling up in front at 11am sharp. Nice. Easy walk. The Foster Museum was very simple, decent, positive, and relaxing environment filled with gorgeous nature views/sketches/watercolor artworks by the U.K. artist, Tony Foster. Good feeling here. Free admissions and good customer service staffs. You can just walk in or register online. There's a tiny gift area not far from the public restrooms. I signed the guestbook at the end of my walk. Good place to hang around/includes unlimited paper, paper/pencils/samples/etc. If you like to sketch and get some creative inspirations, all the nature artworks in the gallery is definitely a good place to start. Not huge, but perfectly quite and calm for art lovers. You can request for an orientation and/or tour as desired. Great first impression during first visit. It's the positive feeling I get from observing the energy and various colorful artworks. Simple and stress-free. Good value/free admissions is totally worth the 1-2 hours here. They also host art classes too, but I will need to take time to browse around online. Good vibes. Staffs are friendly inside. Hidden place. Love it.
