Pass this one up partner! Our family visited on Saturday…read moreafternoon. $11 per person -rip off. The hayride takes you to a very tiny area where there are pumpkins scattered on the ground. You are charged $2-7 for a pumpkin. Many people are crammed into this tiny pumpkin area. No one is social distancing or wearing masks! The only mask was the worker collecting money for the pumpkins. So you pay $11 for a hayride and then another $7 for a pumpkin. You must sit on the ground of the wagon and many older people can not get back up and the staff do not assist them. Other places you sit on a hay bail not here. The animal petting section is pure horror! The ponies are in the sun, rode by hundreds of kids and look abused by this. I couldn't even look at them without crying. Where is the ASPCA? The other animals are in tiny crammed cages. THERE IS NO SOCIAL DISTANCING AND POOR CLEANLINESS! Staff are not in forcing masks. I can see this is a pure for profit farm! I would not recommend visiting here. I would go down the street a mile to the Red Wagon Farm. This Rockin R Ranch place is a dirty, no social distancing, animal abusing rip off. BEWARE!

I did bring it up to the owners, but they claim staff was in the right. Very unsettling and do not want to visit somewhere that is mismanaged. So disappointed because we love local farms and this one wasn't far, but not worth the negative experience. Don't waste your money. There are lots of other options out there!

They are a wealth of knowledge and we love learning so much about the different varieties every visit we make. Best Asian pears we have ever tasted. Their apples are amazing. The grapes are amazing. We went today to pick out some pumpkins and the selection was enormous. So many varieties and Paul took the time to explain that some of them are not only used for decoration, but are also used for baking and eating. Excited to try some recipes ! Paul and Brenda are such wonderful people. We look forward to each visit and are so lucky to live a mile away. We would drive an hour without hesitation to get to them if we had to.

People who work here are very passionate about their trade, which is always a good sign. They gave us a tour, sample tasting, and pick the fruit for us. We were asked to clean hands with alcohol so that we don't contaminate their plants. They took good care of the arched and try to protect the customers at the same time. It's probably not a place to bring kids; it's not that kind of fun touristy farm with hay rides. It's full of yellow jackets, and they are attracted to tiny hands full of juice, so it's best to leave your babies with babysitters. I didn't see, or rather we didn't ask to use bathroom so not sure if they have one.

Peaceful Motorcycle-Friendly Getaway!…read more Booking through the Hipcamp app was super easy--I picked the exact campsite I wanted without any hassle. I was traveling by motorcycle and ended up arriving late at night, so I messaged the hosts ahead of time. They quickly let me know that late arrivals were no problem and that check-in was completely self-serve, which made things simple. Finding my spot was easy once I arrived. I stayed at Campsite #4, conveniently close to the parking area, which made unloading and reloading my bike a breeze. The little shack at the site was awesome! It even had a tarp you can unroll and secure over the doorway for a bit of privacy when you turn in for the night. The latrine was located near the check-in area, and the whole property had a calm, quiet vibe. There were other campers around, but it honestly felt like I had the place to myself. It's nothing like those packed chain campgrounds with big RVs and noisy crowds--this spot was peaceful, rustic, and relaxing. You can't beat the pride note, excellent value! I'll definitely be coming back for another stay on my next ride through the area!

Cute little place that I never really knew existed!…read more My husband and I came here in mid-October to pick some pumpkins and they still had a decent selection. Not many of the green variety but lots of orange and white ones. Prices seemed a little high ($8-9 for an average-sized one, $10-$14 for the large ones, $6-7 for smaller ones). They also had a nice selection of gourds ($1 each), and other decorative or pie pumpkins ($4). Not bad individually, but if you're looking to buy enough for a family or front yard display, it can add up quickly. We picked out 4 and paid $28. In addition to pumpkins, they had a variety of fall activities including a small corn maze, hay rides, and scavenger hunt ($4/ticket for each, I think). We don't have kids so I can't speak to it from that perspective. We went on a gray, drizzly Sunday afternoon so it wasn't very crowded. Appreciated that they require masks throughout the property, though out on the scavenger hunt trails people weren't always abiding.

They also have two concession stands! Our family spent four hours and never even made it to the corn maze. The staff is overly accommodating and friendly. I am really surprised by the previous yelp's I read. This is a small family owned business and they were all running around keeping things clean and in order. I really think people need to be careful right now more than ever leaving a bad review because you may be in a mood yourself. If your heading to an outdoor event I would not expect all people to be walking around outside in a mask. If your that afraid you just may want to stay home an order a pumpkin on line. Don't leave a poor review on a local business working hard to stay up and running. This farm has been in Hartville for a long time. That's why it gets packed so quickly. Loyal customers that enjoy a great service they provide to our community. If your looking for a fun day out I highly recommend stopping here.
