The quality of the classes depends very much on the teacher you book - some are excellent others not. Their greatest quality is to be the only riding school in Munich centre. Most disappointing from our point of view is the inability to understand customer service - my 7 year old daughter fell ill with a nasty virus on the Sunday night before starting a 1 week holiday course on Monday morning - of course when this happens there's no need for the school to make any gesture - so be warned, even for good customers who have spent many hours riding there, they make NO gesture. Disappointing.

I have the fondest memories for St. Margarethen - after all, I learned to ride here many years ago!…read more Gut!: -They have an outdoor ring for regular riding lessons, an indoor arena for shows/acrobatics/inclement weather, and amazing trails around the area. I loved the trail rides the most - just watch out for the horse flies! -They had an amazing summer camp program where kids stay over at the stables and learn everything about the horses - mucking out stalls, feeding/grooming/care, riding ... it looked really amazing, but there was a very long wait list, and I was only there for a few months. The one and only eh - but a very fond one: These ponies have a mind of their own and will cut into the corners of the ring during the lessons/exercises. I remember getting scolded by the instructor for letting my horse slack off. They really are stubborn and smart! I'm still very much in love with my favorite Fjord - Rocco. You're probably in pony heaven now, but I miss you buddy!
