She is the most despicable, morally reprehensible person, that should NOT be working with animals, let alone call themself a veteranarian. My dog became distressed while traveling and couldn't breathe well. I called because they advertise a hospital with emergency services and I had to beg them to please help my dog. They told us when we arrived they would be closing in 40min. They still made us wait while my dog was literally gasping for air. Dr Tina Howerton was rude and condescending, said that my dog Panda could not stay, even though she was clearly struggling to breathe. We still had to wait for her to come back in the room for her to give Panda oxygen. She only kept her on oxygen for 10min, then took her off and said she had a meeting and we're going to have to try to get her to another hospital over an hour away! My Panda died on the way and I had to drive the rest of the way to Michigan with her lifeless body in my arms. She knew my dog wouldn't make it and still made us leave and acted like we inconvenienced her. This could've been prevented had she cared enough to do the right thing and try to save the life of her patient, instead of creating excuses like meetings and staffing. Tina Howerton hides behind her title of doctor for profit of their online store and so-called hospital, with little regard for the patient. Embarrassment to the veterinary profession, contemptible human being.

Small but mighty! Yesterday I brought a neighbors dog to…read morethe clinic, my neighbor was out of town and a fight occurred where he was boarding his dogs. My husband and I stepped in and went and got all 5 of his dogs from boarding. One dog was injured. We knew he needed to be seen and our neighbor said he goes to Terra. An hour away. It was well worth the run over there. The staff was kind and patient as they managed multiple clients and their needs. They saw my neighbors dog quickly and kindly. The Dr, Dr Dane was great. In no time we were on our way with meds and a care plan. He reminded me of Dr Pol (The Incredible Dr. Pol). Our sweet Loki is doing great and we are grateful for the Dr and the entire team at Terra.

He'd been misdiagnosed with allergies and she knew, us coming from the southwest, to test for valley fever. He was positive. She started him on a variety of treatments and medications. I would've lost him had she not discovered this illness. Also, my Corbin suffers from extreme separation anxiety. She mailed him two anti-anxiety medications and they both have helped him a lot. I cannot stress how instrumental she has been providing for my Corbin all these years. You will not regret taking your babies to her. Her staff is kind and they love animals. I'd give ten out of ten if it was an option.
