I went in with a 'flare-up' of lower back pain caused by a bulge on a disk, that occurred years ago, but has only recently resurfaced in the form of a damn fine pain in the back. Bill, who is a DC, (chiro) is also into bodywork, and is also an acupuncturist. After the first session (1 1/2 hours) I had lost all pain. Don't get hyper-it'll most probably show back up, but hopefully to a vastly lesser degree. (he says). I know I feel much better .... I am going to use a heat/cold combo for 'keepin the inflammation down' and see him again in a week. I was promised a referral to a cardiologist and after three weeks and four phone calls, I don't have one and no one has even bothered to return my calls. I had given up on the Adventist clinic for the same reasons and am now giving up on this lot. I found a Sutter PCP in Healdsburg. Sutter is a well-oiled machine. I recommend it to anyone distressed about the lack of care on the Mendocino Coast.
