They have a "give us a call or leave a text" protocol, which results in me never getting through to their receptionists. It's been 8 months since I've been seen, but I called 2 weeks ago with an acute medical issue and didn't hear back for 2 days. I called twice in a row just to make sure I gave them time to get to the phone, but it's just so inconvenient as a disabled person to not hear back from a physician for 2 days. Bad quality service, don't go here if you can.

I've only visited the office twice since choosing them as a provider. I should have done a better job in choosing a heath care provider, but lessons learned. First the office personnel: What a motley crew they've assembled. The utter lack of professionalism in their ability to communicate coupled with their lack of basic medical office protocols is astounding! The referral coordinator is out so for a whole week so no referrals are submitted and when you call you can't get someone to answer the phone for two whole days? At a doctors office? And, if you're lucky enough to get a person on the phone, you have to contend with their nasty attitude? Are you kidding? Second. On both occasions that I've visited the office the place is filthy. I mean filthy. The floors haven't been swept or mopped in months All you have to do is look at the floors around the baseboards. The accumulation of dirt and dust in what should be a somewhat sterile environment is ridiculous. Just effing disgusting. Which kind of goes along with the office staff personalities. The medical treatment by Natalie was wonderful and as I previously stated is the lone bright spot I was exposed to. I strongly advise against us this medical facility unless you don't mind being cared for in a filthy environment with unprofessional professionals.

Dr. Wang is a compassionate doctor that actually cares for her patients and ensures they receive the best possible care. She's very thorough in what she does and if there's a medical issue she can't handle, she directs you to the one who can. She makes sure I follow-up with all of my other physicians and get appropriate tests as needed. No better family physician anywhere. I was very disappointed in hearing of her leaving and will follow her wherever she goes. Commonwealth, you are losing a fantastic doctor. Sad day for you. Five stars for Dr. Wang and her nurse, Robin. Ruth Banks

The care and compassion for patients left once nurse practitioner Julie left. I big shame. They need to close down and start over again. (UPDATE:) I received a certified letter in the mail from the office manager. She stated that they were withdrawing further care and treatment effective immediately, due to my negative review. They also stated that I am expected to pay my balance within 30 days or they will send it to collections because they are removing my payment plan. Wow, this is completely laughable. Do yourself a favor and find a real practice that will show you care and concern. Not one that will refuse you service because of an opinion. Lucky for me I am relatively healthy, but I would hate to see someone with advanced medical problems get a letter like this. There are many kind, compassionate doctors out there. This practice is beyond help.

I am a Veteran and chose Fredericksburg Primary Care Clinic through the Community Care service…read more All Veterans, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! Instead, choose a modern, professional, full-service doctor practice like Mary Washington Hospital Primary Care 540-741-9300 12101 Carol Lane STE 101 Fredericksburg VA 22407. The difference is Night and Day!! MW has modern technology and facilities, MW Doctors are continually being trained in the latest medical treatments and technologies. They offer Veterans way more modern diagnostics with modernized treatments. of interest to Veterans, MW has perfected the VA Community Care Optum processes. Because they are modern they offer online check-in, and use the My Chart app, which makes life SO MUCH EASIER!! No comparison on the level of Veteran care between the two!!! Fredericksburg Primary Care is a 1960s practice with no modernization that does not even staff enough people to answer phone calls. So, if you need to reschedule an appointment, you must physically drive to the office and walk in to do so. MW has an app for that and for all medical interactions. Fredericksburg Primary Care is an antiquated doctors' practice in a run-down old facility that should not even be cleared for a medical practice. Dog kennels are more modern. I have witnessed the hard-working, understaffed front office employees being treated horribly by the lead office administrator and the nurse practitioner, Sandra. The doctor's office is cramped, at least 50 years old, and basic. The administrative area and reception mingle, so one can see how old and broken down the equipment is. Think about how much money that doctor makes and still has broken-down old office equipment. His priorities are very clear, and they are not his facility, staff, or Veterans. They do not organize or plan for daily medical support services, especially the VA's administrative procedures, although they take on VA patients and get paid well for doing so. They also do not answer their phones because, as I quote, the office manager's response: "They ring so much, and we just do not have time to answer them." Because they do not have administrative processes for interacting with VA's Community Care Optum and do not answer their phones, every lab and x-ray consult requires multiple physical visits to request re-faxing the Request for Service forms. The RFS must be refaxed so many times because the untrained staff does not fill out the form correctly, and it is hit and miss if they use the correct fax number. In addition, they do not understand how to bill Optum for visits, so the Vet receives the bill every time. That forces the Vet to spend time on the phone calling Optum so they can pay the bill. This antiquated, disorganized practice should not be allowed in the Community Care network, and I am working hard to remove them.
