I looked at various options (e.g. basement French drain). I eventually came across Marvin at Total Maintenance Pro via Google Reviews (they hold impressive ratings) to ask for an opinion. He came out and assessed the situation and came up with a plan. He even went to the township to chase down folks to get preliminary approval without a penny up front. I didn't know he was going to do this - and appreciated his diligence. His estimate was reasonable for the work effort (and 1/3 the cost of a basement French drain). When it came time to perform the work, a team of 10 showed up with heavy equipment. They explained the process and what we should expect. They finished on time as planned. The workmanship is impressive. I'm confident that their solution will keep water out of our backyard AND from entering our basement.
