The daily breakfast in their elegant dining room with an expansive view is something we will remember for a long time! Though it's away from the Assisi town center, there's a bus stop right in front and the bus takes you to the foothill of Basilica St. Francis, the main attraction in this town. While the facility is nice, it's the service of their dedicated staff that prompted me to leave this 5-star review. Everyone from the front desk to restaurant staff was friendly, courteous and patient with our very broken Italian- most speak English so we had no problem here.

It is quite spacious for a Hotel of such size and it has an attractive and practical interior. It was probably renovated fifteen or so years ago. We stayed there for three days and we all became very fond of it. The food was all very good and we have nothing bad to say about it or even the Hotel. We were a large group on a pilgrimage. My advice, try it at least once, it is very unlikely you will be disappointed! I am certainly going to stay here again if I am in Assisi again. Perhaps the guy at the bar could have known more English but he did his job very well nevertheless! This Hotel will always be one of my favourites.
