Way too expensive and was not satisfied with the end results. Already need a new examination.

Improper diagnosis and script written wrong…read more In optometry, OD stands for "oculus dexter," which is Latin for "right eye." It is commonly used in eye exams and prescriptions to indicate the correction needed for the right eye. You'll notice on the script next to the handwritten OD is a dash LT which is indicating left eye. As a lay person, I did not know what OD stood for, so when I ordered my glasses online, I gave them the measurements for the left eye, which in turn, was for the right eye. I had already paid for an eye exam, but for them to give me the measurements, I had to pay extra and then they wrote it out wrong. I also had the eye exam the end of July and the following February I went to get another eye exam because my vision was still not 100%. according to the script, I was over prescribed. Now I know my eyes did not get that much better in seven months.

I stopped in today to pick up my glasses that were getting new lenses and as soon as I walked in I…read morewas approached by a female employee who seemed to be more concerned about a mask than to greet me and take care of me as a customer. I asked for my total and my glasses and I'd quickly be on my way. She told me to go wait in my vehicle and she'd get my total and bring them out to me. I Again asked for my total and my glasses. She came out and just rudely set them on the desk and took my money. I won't be going back here again! To hell with the mask. I want to be greeted especially if I'm spending money in your office. The new lesson is to get your prescription recommendation and buy your glasses online to save the hassle and avoid rude customer service.

I hadn't had my eyes checked in a couple years so I decided to get that taken care of in the same visit. Dr. Erickson was very thorough examining my eyes and he was friendly as well. I was hoping that I could get just the film on my glasses replaced instead of the whole lens, but sadly my vision worsened a little and I had to get brand new lenses anyway. Apparently there is a $40 charge to replace lenses if you bring your own frames, but my insurance completely covered most of the frames offered here. There is a really nice variety of both practical and designer looks. They are very patient with you and want you to try everything to make sure you find something you like. The employees here are polite and want to make you feel comfortable. Even in the waiting room, hot drinks and cookies are offered. You can tell they try to go the extra mile for you. I am very happy with my new glasses and I won't hesitate to come back here.
