This appears to me to be a store that is just going through the motions - the inventory appears to be stagnant but that's just an opinion and a snap shot of this visit. We started in the left side shop not knowing that the shop on the right was the same owners, that became clear after entering the second one it's just not a place I could get excited about. The proprietors were friendly enough but just hung out behind the counter and repeated the same greeting each time the creaking doors open - "hello is there anything in particular I can help you with, just let me know if you have any questions, sure is hot out there, thank you come again". Maybe it's that I'm more about memorabilia and collectibles than antique furniture and glassware but I found these shops rather boring and found myself just fighting to get through it - of course I have to walk every aisle and look in every cabinet and display case, I'm a true collector but I doubt I'd ever return here it appears there's not much turnover of the inventory or much introduction of new merchandise...

The environment is unpleasant; the floors are dirty, the carpets seem rotten, and the entire building has a heavy, musty odor. To make matters worse, there was a strong smell of marijuana during my visit last Saturday, which isn't surprising given the new management. If you're looking for overpriced storage unit leftovers, this is the place--otherwise, you're much better off yard sailing or visiting one of the many quality thrift stores in Foley.

She still made a purchase but wishes she did not. If your hours state you are open until 6, you should not expect customers to be finished shopping until then. If you want to be out the door by 6, close at 5:30. She has plenty of money to spend and loves antiques but obviously will not be back. We antique a great deal and most places we go tell us to take our time even if it is closing time. We always get done and are out by the time stated on the door because we understand wanting to go home at the end of the day.
