I sometimes get choice paralysis when things are cluttered, but here the layout makes exploring fun instead of overwhelming. The ceramics and vases are even color-coordinated, which is incredibly satisfying to wander through. On my visit, I stumbled across a brand-new set of books I adored as a kid, and the clerk kindly gave me $5 off. That little gesture made the experience even better. If you enjoy thrifting and appreciate a clean, thoughtfully arranged space, I'd definitely recommend stopping by Attic Fanatics, whether you're traveling through or lucky enough to live in Pahrump!

"Don't touch that" becomes almost a dare to little ones. We came across this place on the recommendation of my in-laws. It's a small store, but with so many neat, ever-changing items. The ladies working here are so kind and helpful. They checked on us frequently, but not in a nagging way. Best part of all. We visited on July 4, 2018 when they were having a 50% off ALL items sale - not just certain categories like other thrift shops in the area. They mentioned that they have this sale often throughout the year. 2018 Yelp challenge #141

Both artists and collectors rent space here to display things that they are selling. There seems to be a good mix of new items, hand-made & hand-crafted items, and antiques. There are soaps, oils, & lotions, candles, home decorations, purses, memorabilia, figurines, seasonal decorations, antique dish sets, jewelry, & even comic books, & baseball cards! I purchased a hand-made raspberry scented goat soap, a cute little sign, a Brighton purse which looked like it had NEVER been used, & a hand-thrown ceramic mug that said it was, "Made in Pahrump." So if you are looking to do some shopping to support locals, you might stop in here to hunt for a treasure or two! I bet you could find some perfect gifts here for someone's birthday or the upcoming holidays!

There are 4-5 women at the entrance who are the equivalent of Wal-Mart greeters (Gestapo). When this was just a periodic rummage sale, it was an okay place to shop. Now that they're open once a week, they've become greedy. I went up to pay and waited patiently while the Gestapo carried on a conversation and ignored me. When a gentleman walked up behind me, they all jumped to help him. Five old women and an unaccompanied older man=Senior Dating Game. I was invisible. Ooh! This man was donating an extra dollar! Please wait while we honk the bike horn! The gentleman left, and I was finally acknowledged: "What do you need?" Well, I guess the two records in one hand and money in the other did not tip her off. That, and the fact that I had been standing in front of the cashier for five minutes. They used to charge 25 cents for vinyl records. Today, each of their OLD vinyl records had a note with an eBay price on them. I picked out two 45rpm records, expecting to pay 50 cents. When I went to pay, the lady told me $3 each. I told her I thought the notes were from someone's yard sale leftovers. She said no, those were their prices. I told her they weren't worth it and handed them back. This was very similar to my previous visit there, so I won't be back. Ever.
