I hired MXD Concrete to pour a 12' × 24' concrete slab for a shop, and we originally agreed on a…read moreprice of $3,940. After the work had already started, the contractor told me the price would need to go up because he had to rent an excavator that wasn't included in the original quote. Once the slab was finished, I measured it and found about a 7-inch difference in elevation from one end to the other over the 24-foot length. I reached out to the contractor to try to get it resolved and gave him a chance to respond, but we weren't able to come to any kind of agreement, and he denied responsibility for fixing it. Because of that, I'm now getting other estimates and may end up having to spend a significant amount of money to correct a brand-new slab before I can move forward with my shop. Based on my experience with the work and how the issue was handled afterward, I can't recommend MXD Concrete.

We paid a lot to have weeds coming through already and now having to pull or spray weed killer. We were hoping he would come address the issue- but never has - so for that reason - I give them a poor quality review.. and if you have this type of work done- ask for better quality weed barrier!!
