He went through a florist in Waynesboro, GA, who transferred the request to my home town. He wanted them to be delivered on my birthday as a surprise. Around 5p the day before my day, flowers were delivered. The flowers were falling apart as the delivery guy was handing them to me. The water had a stale smell to them and the arrangement was dying. There was no professionalism at all in the arrangement. It wasn't what my husband ordered, the roses were turning black, the heads of the flowers were drooping and like I said, the pedals were falling off. I called my husband to tell them they had arrived, and he was upset cause they were to be brought to me on my birthday. When I told him the condition of the flowers he was furious. He immediately got in touch with the florist in GA, (by visiting the store) and explained the situation and showed pictures that I had sent. The woman at Waynesboro Emporium was shocked. She went into trying to find out who was the florist who sent these flowers. It took the florist in GA to finally find the answer on June 18th. Peggy the owner of Waynesboro Emporium called Phyllis Flower Shop to try and fix the situation. Whoever answered on Phyllis' line kept hanging up on Peggy, and once Peggy did get someone and tried to tell them why she was calling, they yelled at her and hung up. When I heard how badly they treated Peggy, I decided to call myself since the flowers were sent to me, and try and clear this mess up. I called on June 19th at 9:45a. A woman answered the phone with hello. I asked if this was Phyllis Flower Shop. She said yes. I went into explaining to her that flowers were sent to my house, and were suppose to be on my birthday but they got there a day early. The florist in GA had tried to get in touch with her but was hung up on and was spoken to rudely. Phyllis said it was probably a family member who had answered the phone. I told Phyllis' florist shop that the flowers were in such disarray, there was no envelope for the card, no card holder for the card, the pedals were falling off, even as the delivery guy was giving them to me. I told Phyllis that I had worked for a florist in Auburndale, Florida and I had arranged flowers and also delivered them and that these flowers were not professionally done. She said that she works with what she's got and this isn't a large city she's dealing with. (Auburndale isn't that big! either) The woman at Phyllis Flower Shop got so angry she said, "It seems that even if I sent you gold flowers you won't be happy." And went into a long stream of calling me a bitch over and over again. Feeling how this might have been how she spoke to Peggy, I laughed and said, "There ya go... there ya go." Knowing that what Peggy had said was all true. The situation has since been taken care of. Bonifay Florist and Gifts sent me a beautiful arrangement, exactly what my husband had ordered the first time, plus as an 'I'm sorry this happen to you' gesture, Waynesboro Emporium sent me a basket of flowers also. www.1800Flowers.com has dropped Phyllis Flower Shop from their list and I have dropped them from my life. The woman is very unprofessional, who will get mad at the drop of the hat and then, cuss you out for her unprofessionalism. Personally I would say, never use this florist, but, that's entirely up to you. If you want flowers that look like crap, water that appears to have the consistency which hasn't been changed in a month of Sundays, instructions that can't be filled to the point of a memorial occasion, go ahead.

This is the best flower shop in Bonifay, FL. They made me exactly what I asked for. Friendly…read moreservice, on time and any kind of flower you can think of. I will be a returning customer when I need flowers! I highly recommend them.

I got these balloons blown up for my baby's birthday party today. Yes, they were beautiful, but…read morelook close-10 balloons in a bouquet. Im not complaining about the quality of their work at all-that they did great. Here's the problem; I specifically ordered 6 bouquets of balloons with 7 per bouquet. Instead I got 4 groups of ten. Simple math will tell you I ordered 42 balloons, therefore I was shorted two. Then when I dropped them off to be blown up, the lady told me she didn't want to tie them together in groups because the strings would tangle. Well this is exactly how they came from the florist, it's obvious they were tied in bundles. I wanted exactly 6 bouquets because that's how many tables I had and I'm not the craftiest person, so I wanted them to come from the florist so I could walk in and place them on the tables. I called back up to the business to see if they could make me 2 more balloon bouquets so I'd have enough balloons to go on all my tables. The lady I spoke with went BACK into that'd she'd told me the day before that she didn't want to tie them together because of the tangling issue and that it wasn't a big deal, that they were just in a slip knot and I could untie them and arrange them however I wanted. That was absolutely not the point! To me, it was a BIG deal! I wanted them table-ready when I walked out of the business in the specific amount of requested. It's my baby's first birthday, the less amount of work I had to do the better. I already had enough on my plate. A GOOD business would have offered to make it right by brining me two comparable balloon bouquets (you could throw a rock and hit the florist from where the party was being held-it's not like it was a long drive) or agreed to refund some of my money. Instead a she chose to explain to me why me, as the customer, was wrong. Needless to say, I got neither. And for that very reason I will not give Lipfords Florist any more of my business. I'd rather drive to Marianna for all my flower and party decoration needs. At least maybe they will listen to their customers when they make specific requests; Lipfords obvious doesn't!
