From the moment we walked into her classroom, it was clear how much care and dedication she put into creating a nurturing and structured learning environment. Her classroom was always neat, organized, and filled with engaging educational materials, hands-on activities, and books that supported each child's development. There were many children Giuliano's age, and it was so comforting to see how happy and excited they were to be there each day. My son truly enjoyed going and developed a love for learning early on. Mrs. Athina took the time to guide him not only academically--with early arithmetic--but also with important life skills like sharing, independence, and responsibility. Through her support, Giuliano built confidence and strong foundational skills that I am still grateful for today. I am also so proud to see her daughter, Marisa Dritsas, continue this beautiful legacy. Her Montessori classroom is absolutely stunning--bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed with natural materials and child-sized learning spaces that encourage independence and exploration. The outdoor area is just as lovely, giving children space to play, learn, and connect with nature. Marisa is calm, patient, and genuinely caring. She goes above and beyond to support each child's individual needs and learning pace. Really struggled to find daycare for my young son when I lived in North Burnaby, and had to drive…read moreall over to get him back and forth to school, daycare, etc. K and behold, when I see there's daycare at the end of my street, I'm excited! Talk to the owner of the daycare a few times before we meet, and it's a bit hectic because spots fill exceptionally fast here, its so close to Nelson Elementary. Prices were very reasonable for before and after school care (I paid twice as much in North Burnaby for for less), and pro-D days are covered (unless there are strike days... Don't get me started). The space is divided between school aged kids on one side, and the younger ones on the other, so the toys and care are different. Huge space, large fenced back play area, support for homework, open and frequent communication... I'm thrilled with this daycare and hope to use it for many years to come.

Predatory Behaviour!…read more This organization completely operates in bad faith. They prey on desperate families looking to get their child in daycare so that they can work to live in Vancouver. Not only do they happily take the $100 waitlist fee from parents, but they also spend thousands of dollars on ads on Instagram and Facebook to solicit more applicants to add their names on the waitlist. They do this all while knowing that there is little to no chance that families will get their children into their program. I added my child to their waitlist when he was 1.5 years old and I realize now he will not get in before he enters kindergarten next year. Thank goodness the BC government banned waitlist fees so that money hungry companies like CEFA can no longer make money this way. They really should be required to give back money to families who paid this fee when they do not get in within a suitable timeframe.

This school is a…read morenonprofit and volunteer run so you know that every penny of the tuition goes towards the education of your child. The classroom is clean and bright and all the materials are in great condition. They're even teaching my boy French! I have nothing but good things to say about this school.
