This school is definitely one of the best decisions we have ever made for our son, and this was specially evident in his transition to his elementary school education. Not only does he flourish in mathematical and analytical thinkings, his behaviors at home and at his extracurricular activities have also demonstrated his improvements throughout his life at Monarch. The principal(Ms. Grace) and the teachers(Ms. Paige and Ms. Julia) have put so much time and efforts into their kids, and the community there(among the parents and kids) is just fantastic! Just like what we have told Ms. Grace, it's really sad that Monarch doesn't have classes after kindergarten, otherwise we would leave our son there for as long as he could.

We are sooooo grateful we found University Hill Preschool. This preschool is top notch. After being at two different preschools we can see the difference in care. The Teachers at UHill are so caring, loving and motherly. After sending our eldest here, there was no doubt in our minds that we would send our youngest as well. We live in Dunbar and there is a bit of a commute, but we know our youngest is in great hands. She absolutely adores the preschool, all the Teachers and her friends. They have an opening for part time enrollment (Mondays and Fridays) if anyone is interested (a rare and potentially very attractive arrangement for someone who wants to ease a young child into school). I was not only shocked with the statement but the way she brought this to my attention was very unprofessional and disrespectful. When I asked for examples as to why she thought this the only thing she could say was that he 'liked to line up his toys'. We pulled him from environment immediately as we were deeply worried about how little they knew about my very talkative and expressive son. Since then when chatting with other parents in the community I have respectfully shared (when asked) that it wasn't a right fit for us, but I have heard from over 8 different families that they have been told similar autistic diagnoses from Nicole. I only write this review in hopes that the next parent that is told this difficult news knows the school's backwards enthusiasm for diagnosising children and placing huge amounts of unnecessary stress on parents.
