This is just your average car wash, but every time I have gone to see them, they have done an excellent job. When you drive into the location and veer towards the car wash, you are politely greeted by one of the attendants. You tell them what you want, and that's about it. If you are like me, and do a lot of highway driving, then you probably have bugs on the front of your car. Each time I go I asked them to use the pressure wash on the front of my car to try and get some of those bugs off, and it usually works. After you are done with your wash, you drive your car around toward the exit where you are greeted by someone who will dry your car. Now, I know we have all been there where you are not sure if you should tip, how much you should tip, how you're going to be if you are "that guy". Well, the Village Auto Spot does not allow for tipping so you don't have to worry about that awkward moment. Next to the spot where you get your car dried there is a two car garage where you can get extra services. I have never used any of their services as I usually wax my own car, but when I have a peek inside it always looks very nice in there. Also, while you are waiting for your car you can go and wait in their lobby... or so it seems. Either that, or there are just random people standing in their lobby looking over at the detailing spot. As a side note, if you go before 10 AM you can get a dollar off. Five dollars for their basic wash is a pretty good deal!

Depending on who is working at the various Expresso Car Wash locations, I always ask to ensure bugs are taken care of; the wheels; back window of the cab; and tailgate get some attention. There are a few of the staff members who are very good and others not so good at honoring this request. Value & Quality of services rendered varies with each visit, wished there was a way to have all staff members perform at same level like going to a your favorite fast food establishment - you get the same product regardless of which location you go to. Seems as if the Toledo has become the mecca for car washes almost like Starbucks in affluent communities practically having a storefront on every corner...

Once the wash is done, you have the option of leaving or taking advantage of free vacuum stations as well as an air hose to blow water out of any areas unreachable by hand. There is also a cart full of microfiber towels and window wash solution. To complete the interior of your vehicle. They seemed mad or annoyed with me. Today, the membership lane was blocked and the license plate reader did not work from the other lanes. None of the attendants came out to assist after waiting 5 minutes so I backed out of the one way entry. I don't recommend getting a membership here or even using it for a one time wash. One last thing, the air dryers at the end are almost useless. They do provide towels for hand drying at the end but you have to dry the entire car. Other car wash dryers do a way way better job than this location. Save your money...go somewhere else.
