The pistes are situated at Frankfield House and Golf Club Cork. Play every Sunday at 14:30 Wintertime and 15:00 Summertime. Frankfield House has a Carvery lunch Mon- Fri and Sunday. The Frankfield Boules Blitz, regarded as among Ireland's premier Boules competitions, takes place at the ten-piste-terrain at FRANKFIELD HOUSE above the Kinsale Road Roundabout over the weekend of 27 and 28 August. Play commences at 9:30 on both days and continues to approximately 5 p.m. each day, culminating in prize giving for each of the competitions in Frankfield House.
The Blitz gets it's title from the format of one large qualifier competition on day one, followed by a group of three competitions on day two.
Teams this year come from clubs in Ireland North and South and from clubs around England. There are also French, German and South African competitors.
