It's a neighborhood imbiss ("snack" stand). It's only open for three hours during lunch hours (1100 to 1400); MON - THU.
This is one of a few places that offer semi-American as well as some typical Franconian snack foods like grilled bratwursts. I say "semi-" since some ingredients are not typically American per se. For instance, I found a piece of sliced cucumber (refreshing though it might be) among my veggies on a bun but no pickle. Mayonnaise and ketchup but no mustard. Go figure?!
My cheeseburger, only 2,50€, was surprisingly decent and tasty. I was afraid it might be on the dry side (from the looks [photo]), but it wasn't bad at all.
Now that I found this place, I'll go back and enjoy some "American" fast food every now and again for sure. read more
