She insisted there was no fee for this. Well, they charged me for the last three years with this fee!! 30 minutes later I called back and dropped them for auto. I asked to be called back, but the person failed to do so. Two weeks later I called back to ask why my premium had changed, but he still had no answer. I asked to have the information provided to me within 24-48 hours and he said he would let me know. He never called back to let me know. After waiting for an additional month, I called back and asked again. He told me the premium was "probably" going to drop in the next couple months upon renewal. I made attempts to reach out to Lane Wagner who originally set the contract up for me. She failed to respond until about two weeks later and told me my premiums were not going to change or drop and offered to pursue another company to provide insurance for us. Upon speaking with her again, she found me a cheaper insurance premium with progressive. I could not understand why she was driving us away from Allstate. It was genuinely concerning to me. We have been a good customer with Allstate for nearly 6 years. I called to cancel my policies on December 3rd and they told me that the policies were cancelled. On December 10th they took another auto payment out of my account for the premium I had already cancelled. They are now stating that they are fining me for termination over $600. Never have I felt so insignificant and mistreated as a customer than I have with Allstate. I recommend that anybody searching for insurance look elsewhere.
