I was foolish at the beginning of the year as I was researching how to get our business up and running. I went to Rocket Lawyer, Please don't waste your time or money with them. They don't give you customer service at all. They take your money and tell you incorrect information. We wanted to name our company after our son. We lost him to a tragic accident last year. We wanted to use his initial's. We were told by Rocket Lawyer that per Texas law you couldn't have the name of a company that has 2 words in the name that are similar to another company. We went with another name, and that name was our second choice. As the month's passed we just were not happy with the customer service, none to speak of actually, calls and emails left unanswered. I knew to have a successful company you have to have an attorney. I searched reviews on most but Nina Yablok was getting some very great reviews. Once I called her and told her about our experience with Rocket Lawyer and the name of our company, she immediately checked this out for us. Nina told us our original name we wanted for our company was in fact available. Nina told us all she had to do was submit a form to amend the name. Her pricing was very reasonable. Nina was there to answer our questions via email or phone. Nina always got back to us. We want her to know how very much getting our son's initial's as part of our company meant to our family. I felt like Nina truly cared about our situation and once she was able to get our name in place she was as happy as we were. Now is the time to take that dream and make it a reality. You won't regret hiring Nina as your business attorney.

The morning we showed up for mediation she hadn't even finished reading through my husbands discovery. Needless to say she did not advocate for me or my child and didn't do what was in our best interest due to her lack of knowledge and care. Every time the mediator left the room Amy would excuse herself to talk on her phone, multiple times I would have to go find her to ask her questions regarding my situation. I was in total disgust on how she conducted herself. At times she had me questioning who's side she was on his or mine. My lack of confidence in her will have me advise anyone who is considering on hiring Amy would be to save your time and money and find someone else who is more knowledgeable and compassionate. I feel like Amy and her staff failed us. Please take note I'm still married and had to hire another attorney because Amy removed herself from my case. My current attorney gives me the peace of mind and confidence Amy could not.

During my case, I was advised to consider plea agreements involving significant prison time. I did not agree with that advice and ultimately continued to pursue a different outcome. After approximately two years, I accepted a two-year non-aggravated sentence. In my opinion, I did not feel that my case was handled with the level of effort or attention I expected, particularly given the amount I paid. I also felt that pursuing trial was not seriously considered. I am sharing my experience so that others can make an informed decision before spending a significant amount of money on legal representation. I strongly recommend consulting with other attorneys and comparing your options before making a decision.
