I had never had a good experience with a dentist in my life (maybe because I have a tiny child mouth and I'm always being yelled at to "open wider"...) so, I almost never went to the same one more than a couple times. I was hesitant to start over at another place, but I am so glad I did... On walking in, you can tell everyone loves working there and that they are a family. Dr Greg and Dr Joanne (married couple practice, how nice?) are so sweet they provide their own figurative job security; plus they have gadgets for checking your teeth that I had never heard of (including this thingy you can rest your teeth on that holds my tiny child mouth open for fillings, etc.) and the whole staff is excellent at what they do. In addition to regular cleanings, I had Six-Month-Smiles (quick braces thingies) to re-straighten my teeth before my wedding, so I got to spend more time there than the average patient which allowed me more time to observe the interactions between the hygienists, assistants, techs, doctors, and other patients. So, there are my credentials on the subject. :) P.S. Almost my whole family goes there now, and everyone agrees, APDC is phenomenal. You should go... tell them Melissa S. sent you!

I thought a lot about what I would put when I wrote this review and I will say I'm giving two stars…read morebecause the staff I encountered were all extremely nice, but that's about the extent of the positive experience I had. I went in for a normal check-up/cleaning and was told I needed to have my four wisdom teeth removed. The doctor was very thorough in her explanation why they needed to be removed and I had made an appointment to have her remove them the following week. My cleaning went fine, very standard but the issues came quickly with the first extraction. Half way through the extraction she called it quits because the tooth wasn't coming out and said I would need to schedule an oral surgery. Mind you, this is after she pulled most of the roots out and cracked the tooth multiple times. So I was send home with a tooth practically hanging in my mouth. Once the numbing wore off I was in the most excruciating pain of my life left to wait three days until I could have the teeth removed. After a true professional removed all four teeth I took a look in my mouth and the three he removed looked nice and tidy but the one she attempted to remove looked like a grenade went off in my mouth. A week later I'm still in unbearable pain on that side and still haven't had solid food, so I've lost a ton of weight too. Honestly, I'm nervous about what long term damage this has caused if any. I put my trust in the hands of who I believed was a friendly, trained professional but ultimately she's a dentist that overestimates her skill. If I were you, I would not enter this office, I walked in with zero pain and walked out in a very different condition. **For everyone reading the reviews, there are multiple signs that you receive a free gift if you leave a 5-star review on Google, that should have been a red flag for me.

BEWARE!!! I recently had a cleaning services. My hygienist…read moresaid that, oh your insurance covers 100% of fluoride treatment. I said, Im 50 y.o. I may not need it, but if it is covered 100%, why not, use every benefit that we are paying for. So, weeks later, I received a bill about $47 for that service. Then, of course I had to call their office and made an argument of what my hygienist said. The dental staff said, and, I was told that my Blue Cross dental insurance made a mistake. From there, I knew they were already lying. For the sake of verifying, I called my dental insurance and asked about the coverage. I was told that the coverage for fluoride is only up to 19 y.o. and that guideline has been set since the beginning, decades ago. So, they knew then that it was not covered. They think that maybe all patients are ok with that. For me, this is one of those revenue-generating schemes, so BEWARE!!! Addendum: 7/2/25 So, they responded that my dental insurance states that coverage is age 4 and up, so again, I just called my dental insurance again to verify what this dental office states. I verified with my dental insurance that it was clearly stated that age is UP TO 19 y.o. This dental office knew then it was not covered, but told me it was. We supposed to make an informed decision by what they say. This dental office states that they are transparent. TRANSPARENCY is best shown in actions, not in words, JUST NEED SOME ACCOUNTABILITY.
