Dr. Aieta was recommended to me approximately 10 years ago by a highly regarded physician who was unable to figure out what was wrong. Taking one look at me when I first walked through his door, Dr. Aieta already knew what my blood work would reveal. However, he clearly stated that he would first receive my results before prescribing any supplements and a treatment plan. Never had any doctor been so thorough with my blood. I have read reviews that mention cost and truthfully I was grateful for the ONE person that actually cared enough to look at the entire picture. Final costs to me from my insurance carrier are always reasonable. Our blood tells us so much about our bodies and I have yet to find a Western doc that shares the same approach with such detail!!! Dr. Aieta was right on!! the blood work revealed exactly what he had anticipated and because the underlying cause had been left for so many years... my body was deficient in many of its essential nutrients. These vitamins/nutrients are what allow our body to function properly and fight off disease. Was I skeptical?.. sure!... but in my mind I committed to giving his recommendations a try. I decided I would stick with him for one year. As previously mentioned.. it has been almost 10! Within that first year the change in my health was incredible. Over time the amount of supplements I have needed to take has decreased tremendously and my plan is periodically tweaked based on my needs. I have never felt pressured to buy product solely from Dr. Aieta, but I am grateful that he has done all of the research so that I am not overwhelmed or confused about which brand(s) to purchase. I know that I am taking the highest quality products which is really important to me. I understand that some people are uneasy about 'natural' medicine and it often challenges the 'conventional'.. but Dr. Aieta has been a game changer for me and so many others! Dear Susan Lesser (July 19, 2017 1 Star Review), Let me tell you what happens on the 2nd visit. For example, here's what Dr. Frank said to me....."All your tests came back and you have no horrible food allergy. Your results are all in a range I'm good with and your numbers are really good, except for one. You have a high inflammation score & your blood is thick. Now what I need to do is find out what's causing that because that's probably what's causing all your pain". So yes Susan, a couple more visits & some more testing and guess what? Dr. Aieta found what has been causing me so much body pain that I couldn't work for 5 years. I went to 3 MD's, 1 Rheumatologist, & 8 months of physical therapy and it was one endless road with no light at the end of the tunnel. But that's all behind me now because Dr. took the time to learn about me, which is what he started to do with you. I am a new person on my way to a full recovery because Dr. Aieta stays on the cutting edge of medical & dietary science. He doesn't treat the symptom, he finds the root cause. He doesn't give you a pill to mask your ailment, he cures it or fights it naturally. He's not going to give you a prescription drug that will eventually harm your liver & kidneys. He doesn't use science from the 60's, 70's, 80's....He's on top of his game when it comes to the latest scientific findings from the most prominent sources. Your 1 star review sounds a lot like someone that didn't hear what they wanted to hear. There's no magic "naturopathic pill". It's hard work to heal yourself. It takes time. You have to follow the dietary guidelines he gives you & supplement where you're deficient. And by the way, no you do not fulfill your deficiencies through diet alone. Your "cookie-cutter" statement couldn't be further from the truth. My relative & I have compared notes. We are both treated by Dr. Aieta so differently and both of us have the most favorable results we'd ever been fortunate enough to find with a Dr. She thanks me for sending her every time I see her. I'm the typical "never go to a doctor" male in my mid 50s so for me to try naturopathic medicine is way out of character for me. But this turned out to be the best doctor's visit I've ever had. No judgement, guilt or anxiety I associate with medical visits. I felt super comfortable in his home office setting talking with Dr Aieta about my health concerns (mostly joint pain, gout and weight issues). He took a considerable amount of time both listening and explaining everything, especially the lab test and what they're for. I felt like he is genuinely concerned about my health and improving it. So far his rates are extremely reasonable, I was a little surprised because I'm self employed so I pay out of pocket. The lab work was done with Quest Diagnostics. Expect to pay $500 - $1000 for all the various blood test, including a food sensitivity test. Totally worth it though. The blood test take all the "woo woo" out of the naturopathic treatment to me and makes it more about getting a real medical score card established. Quest was super efficient and had me out in less than 15 min. Their appointment system notifications was very good and I only ended up waiting maybe 10 min after checking in online. My follow up 2nd visit to review the lab test results was very thorough and he explained them in simple terms. I'm excited to be better informed about my joint pains and what is affecting my general health. I am looking forward to retesting in 3 months after following his treatment recommendations. Hard to put into words how grateful I am and do so without writing a book. Misdiagnosed for over 10 years. VERY ill for that long actually longer. Lyme, Hypothyroid, Depression, Homozygous MTHFR, Blood clot, Celiac Disease. SO much inflammation and illness. He just recently helped me through menopause as well. I think it's SO important to mention his knowledge in Thyroid and Lyme Treatment FAR surpasses that of several other Dr's and Naturopaths I had seen prior to him. Finally went to see Dr.Aieta, I'm a type 2 diabetic and just want to get it under control, stop taking meds that seem to just be masking the issue. I heard great things about Dr.Frank, from friends about weight-loss to skin issue's etc. So we started off with a very thorough blood work exam 21 vials of blood to be exact, and a food allergy blood test. I found out what foods were causing inflammation also all kinds of other deficiencies that I was lacking to low testosterone, and a slew of other things. I've been a patient of Dr. Aieta for the past 4 years. I originally sought out Dr. Aieta for the treatment of my debilitating arthritis. Dr. Aieta figured out that my arthritis was actually a result of untreated Lyme disease. He determined this through a very accurate blood test that no other doctor ever thought of running on me. Every doctor I had gone to would just put me on pain medications to deal with the symptoms and a steroids to suppress my inflammation. Dr. Aieta has been my primary care doctor for over ten years. I suffer from thyroid disease.
