It was dark, late and rainy and I was tired and irritated. Flash Towing came in about 30 minutes or less. The guy Buzzy was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I got home. He even went out of his way to try alternatives so I wouldn't have to pay for towing. You can tell he's just a kind hearted person naturally which really goes along way when you're having a horrible day. I would definitely recommend Flash Towing and this we'll be the only tow service my family or myself will ever use if I ever need one again. Thank you so much Buzzy for really going out of the way doing the extra to make sure I got home.

Long story short this "automotive mechanic" took advantage of me and charged me nearly 700 dollars for a new starter while all I needed was a new battery. I honestly cant believe a human being can sleep at night knowing they make a living straight up scamming people out of hundreds/thousands of dollars. This is not making an honest living, this is screwing people over making the world a worse place for profit. Do better. I'd leave 0 stars if I could.

No Stars - Worst Experience, Beware of Fraud…read more Earlier this year I was in a terrible accident on the interstate. I was stopped in traffic and was hit at 60 mph. Progressive (the other driver's insurance) had my car taken to Smith's Body Shop in Albertville, Alabama for repairs. Smith's had my vehicle for two months and told me it was "fixed." Progressive paid them over $17,000 to put new parts on my car. I trusted that everything had been handled properly. Before I even picked up my car (a 2023), Smith's tried to tell me I needed a new car battery that would cost me $400 out of pocket because insurance wouldn't cover it. The problem? My battery had been replaced just one month before the accident. I argued with them, and suddenly they backtracked and said, "Never mind, nothing's wrong with your battery." That alone should have been a red flag. Not even two months after picking it up, I took my car to another shop for a minor bumper repair. That's when I learned the shocking truth: * The new shop said the damage was never fixed from the original accident. * Progressive investigated and confirmed that Smith's never reported frame damage that should have totaled my car. * Even worse, the $17,000 worth of new parts Progressive paid for were never actually installed. This means they not only committed insurance fraud, but they also let me--three months pregnant at the time--drive around in a vehicle that was unsafe and dangerous. Now I'm left without a car. I honestly don't understand how this business has good reviews. My experience shows otherwise, and I feel it's important to warn anyone considering this shop, whether through insurance or on their own. What they did was careless, dishonest, and could have put lives at risk. Do not trust Smith's Body Shop.
