If you find yourself nearby I recommend trying this place out. The service was prompt and typical of Latin America, in which they don't interrupt you while you're chewing your food to ask you how everything is. They will stand nearby and whenever you want something you simply raise your hand. I much prefer this over American style service anyway. It makes for pleasant uninterrupted conversation at your table. Excellent food, excellent staff and service!

The mondongo was our family favorite--this is some of the best soup I have ever had--super comforting and absolutely bursting with flavor, and the tripe pieces were so tender. Every dish here was tasty though, and this was one of my top restaurants of our vacation.

My husband and I walked there, exploring the neighborhood was fun. Once we arrived we sat at a sweet little table in the window and settled in. Food-wise, the bagel was amazing. I don't really know why it was so amazing - you would think you can't do much to a bagel but I'll be thinking of this particulate bagel for a long time. We also ordered the avocado toast which was good. It was filling too! The coffee was great. We even stayed for a bit after breakfast and sipped coffee and chatted.
