I have had several injections administered by Dr. Khan and they and he have been a life saver! I live with a daily pain level of between 7-10... and, as some of you may know, being in such prolonged, incessant pain can be demoralizing and downright depressing!! Through the help of the injections administered by Dr. Khan, I experience a very much needed and very much appreciated relief from the pain - lasting usually three to six months even, after a single injection. Everyone at this clinic has been friendly, respectful, efficient, and kind. I have always been made to feel like I am being very well taken care of. And, THAT too has been very much appreciated!! If you are in need of steroidal injections, I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Khan. Live well. Be well. Cheers!

These were all great doctors, but Dr. Khan is the best in all categories of compassion, care, providing the most options for treating pain and helping patients manage the pain themselves. They are all caring doctors, or they wouldn't be in the business. But, Dr. Khan goes an extra step with guidance, trust and helping patients help themselves. I am very grateful to have found him and nurse Jessica. Simply the best!

The injury caused agonizing, 9-out-of-10 sciatica pain radiating down my right hip and shin. For weeks, I couldn't walk without crutches and woke up every single night in absolute torment. My primary care physician assured me that Dr. Derman was "the best in the business," and he was absolutely right. From our very first consultation, Dr. Derman was incredibly nice, patient, and thorough. As a fellow gymnast in his younger years, he truly understood my background and my goal to safely get back to the sport. I trusted his judgment completely. To get me back on my feet as quickly and safely as possible, Dr. Derman performed an ultra-minimally invasive endoscopic microdiscectomy. Because this advanced technique uses a tiny camera and specialized instruments, it minimizes disruption to the surrounding back muscles, drastically cutting down traditional recovery time. The outpatient surgery on April 28th was seamless. Amazingly, just hours after the surgery I walked out of the clinic, and the excruciating nerve pain in my hip and shin was completely gone. At my 6 week follow-up appointment, Dr. Derman gave me the green light to slowly and safely begin working out again. Dr. Derman is a world-class surgeon with exceptional bedside manner who utilizes the absolute latest, most advanced surgical techniques. If you want a doctor who truly understands athletes and high-level recovery, do yourself a favor and schedule a consultation with him. Thank you, Dr. Derman!

If you've ever hesitated to visit a spine doc for fear of being rushed into unnecessary surgery,…read morethis review is for you :) I came to Dr. Derman after two of the worst months of my life. Severe sciatica and relentless low back pain made me nearly immobile. I often collapsed between my bed or couch, just standing long enough to cook breakfast felt impossible, and none of my usual remedies (PT, chiro, acupuncture, massage, cupping, etc.) helped. The hopelessness pushed me to a very dark place. After hitting a breaking point with a couple visits to the ER offering no relief, I finally took a friend's advice and saw Dr. Derman. I arrived desperate for any solution to end my suffering - cutting my leg off, ripping my spine out, burning every nerve in my lower body, all of the above...or actual surgery lol. Dr. Derman patiently reviewed my imaging, explained his findings, answered my questions, and identified a herniated L5-S1 disc with uniquely shaped extruded material hammering a nerve center - a perfect storm for maximum suffering. The relief of finally understanding the problem was immense. Although he explained that surgery was a real option if I wanted it, he encouraged me to try one last non-surgical approach: an injection and targeted PT. He told me, "the best surgery is no surgery at all," and reassured me my quality of life mattered so there wasn't a need to compromise if I didn't get back to where I needed to be. Reluctantly, I agreed. It's been 2.5 months and, with continued non-invasive treatment, I'm still improving week by week. If I'd seen anyone else, I likely would've been rushed to surgery and charged an expedite fee. Dr. Derman took the time to evaluate, educate, and propose a thoughtful, conservative plan - something rare and invaluable. You only get one first back surgery, and thanks to Dr. Derman, I may have been able to delay it for good. Don't wait until you're at your wits end. Go see him, knowing that relief is out there for you.

I had a long standing upper leg injury of unknown origin, and had seen both my primary care physician and a PT. After explaining my symptoms he had a pretty good idea what was wrong with me, and after an MRI his suspicions were correct that I had a stress fracture. It was such a relief to find out what was wrong with me, as I previously thought I had a muscle strain. Dr. Raynor's staff is also really nice and always concerned about my well-being. I really like the system of pre-visit online check-in at Texas Orthopedic Associates, so you don't have to spend each appointment filling out paperwork and you can actually get to your appointment on time. The only negative is sometimes it was hard to get an appointment that works with my schedule. Dr. Raynor is well in demand, and I completely understand why.

I called their billing department and the person I spoke to confirmed this. They said they could either request a check or that the credit could be applied to a future visit. I chose the latter since I had a follow-up scheduled. I went to my follow-up appointment today and the front desk told me I owed $113.16. I asked if that included a credit and the girl at the front desk told me there wasn't a credit. I explained the situation multiple times, showing her the EOB summary and the credit card charge from my phone. After some back and forth, she and another girl said that I had to pay the full $113 or reschedule and they would not honor the credit, saying that their "higher-ups" had told them this. I called the billing department later and spoke to the same person as before, who told me that they should have honored this credit. I should not have had to pay more than what I owed. I will for my insurance to process the claim for today's visit and will call the billing department afterwards to discuss how to move forward, being that I don't have any more visits, but this could have been avoided if they had just honored the credit.
