Not helpful at all, short tempered and not available to answer any questions or concerns. Demanded cash for full payment the very first day and was the only time I felt like he tried to help and was available. Otherwise talking to constantly changing paralegals and no responses from him as isn't even aware of the facts of my case. Gary Fraley even hung up on me for no reason as I simply answered and replied one of his statements and he got easily irritated with me. Maybe he was a good attorney at some point but don't waste your money and go elsewhere. Some of the staff there is actually helpful but Mr Fraley will make excuses and be stubborn every step of the way and twist your own words against you at the end. I hired this firm for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy and paid in full over $2,000. Before they would start work. My paperwork was completed in mid-October, but after several months my case was never filed. I was never able to speak directly with the attorney despite repeated requests. I was only ever called back on two occasion and only once for my case. I have been told repeatedly I would receive call backs and never did. After my initial consultation I only ever head back from staff and only spoke with receptionist other than one time. This is after calling repeatedly asking to speak with someone over months of waiting for call backs. All my response had similar vague timelines while always delaying repeatedly. There were also repeated billing issues where payments were not correctly reflected, and I had to provide receipts multiple times to prove what I had paid. Ultimately, after months of delay with no filing and no clear explanation, I terminated the representation and requested a refund. I would strongly recommend getting clear expectations and guarantee timeline for filling a case in writing and considering other options before hiring this firm. read more

Suppose to have a signing today. Nope they canceled it morning of. Gary refused to see me even during my scheduled appointment time. They even threaten to call the cops during my appointment window. while I signed with them on 12/18/2024 and my filing still isn't complete. Then Gary walked out the office while I was trying to get to see him for my appointment. Told me to reschedule like I was a piece of trash. Not worth his time. My paralegal called out... so why was my appointment canceled. I requested a sit down with my lawyer. Like always; I never get it. I'd pay money to avoid this company. I went to this company to have my bankruptcy done. After I filled out all of the information and did the online class, they said they would get back to me in a few weeks. I never heard back from them. And then when I contacted them, they said that they had lost all my information and I would have to fill out everything all over again. I explained to them the amount of work it took to come up with all of that information and fill everything out the first time and that I did not want to have to do it all over again. Not only that, but some of my financial arrangements had changed, thus making filing a bankruptcy more difficult. I had paid for the entire bankruptcy as well as the court fees upfright and they refused to give me my money back. Well six months goes by and when my husband went to follow up on its progress he was informed that Fraley had lost them and told my husband he had to fill out and resubmit again. I have to ask what was the point of hiring him if the customer does all the work? To top that off his staff is rude and incapable of returning phone calls. Save yourself a headache and your money and DO NOT GO THROUGH PERSON. Filing for bankruptcy is already not ideal situation and this man will take your money,make you do all the work , then fail to file or even hold onto all your information and refuses to give you your money back. In July 2017 I retained the law offices of Fraley and Fraley to handle my bankruptcy case. Initially, I was very happy with their services. In August 2017 I was told I was need to leave a deposit of $818.00 because Mr. Fraley thought they might need to file a motion to compel abandonment to save my house in the bankruptcy. I was told by Mr. Fraley and his Associate Paul that they would know if it would need to be filed after my meeting of the creditors which took place in December. In January it was deemed that I had a no asset case by the bankruptcy trustee. And in February my case was discharged. During this time I had reached out through phone calls and email to Paul the associate handling my case. I was told the motion was not needed. Shortly, after that I reached out to Paul again to find out about getting my refund for the motion since it was not needed. At the time I found out that Paul was not longer at the firm. This occurred in January. I then started calling and leaving messages with Mr. Fraley's staff to have Mr. Fraley call me regarding my refund. As of today it has been 3 months of calling and emails and I have not heard from Mr. Fraley or any of his associates. I have even emailed Mr. Fraley's email directly and have heard nothing. One week ago I spoke with one of Mr. Fraley's staff and was told I would not be receiving a refund. I explained to him that I told it was a deposit and I was NEVER told that if the motion was not needed that I would not be getting my money back. I would have waited to pay for it when it was necessary. His staff member went on to tell me that the motion was drafted in August 2017. I asked why was it drafted before we even knew it was needed? He could not answer that and he went on to tell me that because it was drafted I would not be getting my money back. I went on to argue with him about that fact that it was drafted in August before anyone knew it was needed. This is why I am really upset 1) I was told I would be called to let me know about the motion and when it was needed. 2) I was never informed 3) I was never told I would not get my money back if the motion was not needed 4) I was told by Mr. Fraley's associate Paul that the motion was never needed. I feel that even though the motion was drafted without my knowledge its a draft. Secondly, they draft those documents using templates so it most likely took less than 30 minutes to draft it. I don't know mind paying the actual amount of time it was drafted even though I was not informed. I have worked for a corporate law firm for 10 years and know that all documents are drafted using templates. In doing my due diligence with this matter, I have contacted a different bankruptcy law firm. I was told that the not returning my calls, the lack of communication, and the fact that I will not be receiving even a partial refund is unethical. I was advised to file a complaint with the state bar, and also with the BBB. I am very disappointed in the way this has been handled. During my bankruptcy I became a single parent. I filed bankruptcy because I was in financial ruin. And now I am being told I will not receive my money back that I need to support myself and my child because a motion was drafted that was never needed. I picked this law firm due to its high reviews and that fact Mr. Fraley has been doing this for a long time. I never thought he would take advantage of a situation like this. It is very disheartening. I had high hopes that we could discuss this and come to an agreement. But instead he has chosen not to contact me to discus the matter at all. I have all the emails between his staff, and his associate Paul regarding my situation. My one other concern with this law firm is that I was asked on 4 different occasions to provide documents that contained my social security number, address, and my driver license number because they were not in my file. I had serious concerns about this due to the fact my personal information was on these documents. I have all the emails regarding my concerns on this matter. I hope that Mr. Fraley in the future decides to handle these issues in a more professional manner. And in the mean time I will be filing my complaint with the state bar and the BBB. read more

First off, this law firm provided the service I requested which was a successful Chapter 7 bankruptcy. I was satisfied with that aspect of the service. I chose Mr. Fraley because of his great wealth of experience; despite, the higher prices he charges. I never saw Mr. Fraley again after the initial consultation; my case was given to a junior lawyer. I dont know if Mr. Fraley worked on my case 'behind the scenes', but I had the feeling he did not. That said, the junior lawyer was pleasant. Also, dont expect a response to a legal question if you call, or email, the office. My question was always given to another person, and I never received a response from a lawyer. I was so frustrated at one point, that I literally walked into the office without an appointment to ensure my questions were answered. Lastly, if you want assistance with redeeming a vehicle, be sure to get an assurance through writing in the beginning. They stated a willingness to help, with 'no problem', and Ive yet to get any assistance whatsoever. Ive attempted to contact the office on numerous occasions, and have been ignored. On our first meeting, I told Mr. Fraley I have a lien on my property that I need removed. He assured me he will take care of everything during the bankruptcy and I trusted he would do so. After that I called several times and talked to both the receptionist and Blanca who had no idea what I was talking about. I had to tell the story over and over again. But still... nothing was done about it during the bankruptcy filing, Mr. Fraley did not even look at my case and what the issue was. I was getting desperate and called and emailed for weeks begging for help. NO answers, no return calls. After 2 months of sleepless nights and trying to get in contact with them and being told that the paralegal is extremely busy, I found a new attorney. As it turns out, my new attorney told me what the problem was in a few minutes and got it resolved in less than an hour with a few phone calls. I have lost a car to reposssion I have been sued by 2 credit card companies and I started bankruptcy process Oct 2017 all fees have been paid to Mr. Fraley my paper work has been lost 3 or 4 times still no progress and there are no refunds. This is the longest and worst experience I have ever had Find another lawyer if you are thinking about coming here if you are a client also I feel sorry for you too. GREAT ATTORNEYS....ACCURATE, FRIENDLY, FUNNY, THOROUGH, REASONABLY PRICED...I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH! After incurring a large amount of medical debt, my husband and I were forced to file Chapter 13 bankruptcy. After researching multiple attorneys, we decided to go with Fraley & Fraley. It was the best decision we could have made. The initial cost was more than reasonable, especially since our situation was extensive and we had a lot of special circumstances to deal with. Gary Fraley guided us through every step of the process. We have been in bankruptcy since 2014. During this time, I have had to contact them on multiple occasions. My husband and I received several calls from creditors in the beginning and were able to simply refer them to our attorney. His team handled everything. In addition to these "expected" calls, I also was contacted by my ex-husband regarding a joint student loan (we consolidated them before our divorce and student loans are not discharged in bankruptcy). My ex and I do not get along AT ALL. I contacted Mr. Fraley's office and explained the situation, specifying that it pertained to payments with the student loan (which was supposed to be on hold during our bankruptcy). His staff acted as the mediator between my ex and I so that we did not even have to talk to each other. Mr. Fraley's team was very professional and cordial to everyone involved. There have also been other instances that have arisen that our attorneys have handled without any issues (i.e. Bank of America disputed our claim in bankruptcy, so Mr. Fraley had to file petitions and go to court on our behalf....we won). Just recently, we went back to his office to ask further questions about our particular situation and what to expect once our last payment was made in 2019. Mr. Fraley met with us and reviewed our file completely. He answered every question that we had. He is very thorough, accurate, and detailed. During every encounter, Mr. Fraley's team has been very polite. Meeting with Gary Fraley individually, however, will make you understand why his team loves working with him. He is very funny, polite, patient, and committed. Although our case has required more contact than originally expected, he has not made us pay more fees. For starters I gave them my initial down payment after that i would come in once a month to make payments.But the secretary always said i owed more. I finally came in with all my receipts to show proof. They also wanted all my bills my financial status, bank accounts, social security number all my personal information to which i have given to them and they conveniently lost them. They also made an appointment with a paralegal.When i arrived there they told me she wasn't in the office and my son saw the lady in the office.I ask for my money back. But there is no refunds.
