Who doesn't love piping hot donuts in the morning?! Fractured Prune is definitely the best donut spot in Wildwood. It's right on the boardwalk a few blocks past the third pier. They don't have seating, but there are benches along the boardwalk if you want to eat them close by. I have not had a donut here I didn't like! My favorite flavor is monkey buns. If you like cinnamon, you will love this one! You can also build your own if you don't like any of their pre-designed options. In the height of the summer season, it can get busy so I would suggest ordering online in advance. That way you can beat the line! This is a must visit spot for a sweet treat when in Wildwood in the summer! They do close at 1 PM so it's definitely a morning spot. You really can't go wrong with any donut flavor here!

In my opinion the best place to get donuts in Wildwood. These donuts are hot, cakey, and delicious. There's a wide variety to pick from and they're all awesome. The donuts are always a hit with everyone when I bring in a box to work. I like to order my donuts online to pick them up the next morning, that way I can skip the line and get in and out quickly. But if you're dead set on eating the donuts hot and fresh, you should consider waiting in line. I've also had their breakfast sandwiches and they're pretty decent by the way! Definitely worth stopping by and definitely worth the wait.

If there's a Fractured Prune in the area, you can bet I'll be there. So exciting to see one so closeby to where we were staying. Got a dozen and was surprised these were full sized compared to Ocean City, MD for the same price! MD's spots have been churning out smaller donuts compared to this location. Delicious as always. Much more choices of donuts and toppings to choose from. Also loved their sandwiches when we first tried it long ago and this place didn't disappoint. It was a multigrain bread sausage, egg and cheese sandwich ('cause you know NYers love this breakfast), apparently the only bread they had that day and it was phenomenal. Just so nicely done, filling and hit the spot.

By far the best donut I've ever had! Even though I could only have a small bite... this was one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted! So good. The service was pleasant and efficient and the coffee and egg sandwich were good too! Loved this place!

Always have to get some fresh donuts!

Nothing beats fresh and hot baked donuts! The 1st time my family and I had fractured prune is in Ocean City, MD and it was amazingly delicious so when we saw it while on the boardwalk, we had to place an order. The cashier was very friendly and the service was quick. Soon we were stuffing our faces with some delicious chocolaty hot donuts. I order their ice cold vanilla ice coffee and it was so good to drink especially on a hot summer day and with fresh donuts. Sadly, their last day of operation is Labor Day and they will reopen next Memorial Day but I'm glad I got my donut fix cravings out of the way....at least for now.

Always a great experience here. I stopped in for some Twix donuts and bagel sandwiches. Both were outrageous! Next time I'm going to get a hole in one donut with ice cream!

I had a delicious iced vanilla latte from here during my visit! They have hot made-to-order donuts with a wide variety of options to choose from. This appears to be everyone's favorite donut stand on the boardwalk and is very popular. Would definitely recommend!

I first heard of fractured prune when vacationing in Ocean City NJ the year before. So as a birthday ritual for my oldest son decided to pay it another visit and grab a dozen donuts for the family. It did not disappoint. You must eat it warm. They put great care into the each donut prior. I also got a snickerdoodle latte and a breakfast burrito not bad at all. But you come for the assortment of well crafted donuts.

Coffee was really good. The chocolate covered cherry donut was great, very rich chocolate And the donut had a nice crispness to it. The white cream was also great not too sugary and really smooth.

When I heard that Wildwood was getting a Fractured Prune, I was pumped and could not wait to try it. So over the weekend I made a point to get down the shore for their "Grand Opening." While the Grand Opening was a bit of a bust- bad weather, the donuts were DELICIOUS! I tried a few of the classics- my favorites included the strawberry & OC Sand, and some of their featured donuts like the hot chocolate. In addition to their board of classics and daily specials, FP also allows customers to make their own donut creation. The service here is friendly, but slow. They make each donut fresh, and add the toppings one at a time by hand. So while it's slow, the warm donut is totally worth the wait. A few other things to note, there is $10 minimum on cards, they accept call ahead orders, you can order a donut with a scoop of ice cream & in addition to donuts, they serve specialty drinks, fresh juice and breakfast sandwiches. So happy to welcome Fractured Prune to the Wildwood board walk & can't wait to go back.

Fractured Prune's latest location is still in soft-opening mode, but they're already functioning like a well-oiled machine! It was my first time ever trying the local shore chain. I had heard good things over the years about the brand and figured it was due time to check them out since I was staying nearby! I arrived around noon to a small line. It's on an unsuspecting part of the boardwalk but it didn't seem to impact business at all. Park on 21st Street and make a left when you walk onto the boards. It's near the end of the store block. My first instinct was to order a half dozen doughnuts to share. They come hot and made to order, so when you order they give you a card. Mine was the nine of clubs. It only took about five minutes until the friendly staff called my card. Tonight I shared [and enjoyed!] the orange creamsicle, French toast, lemonade, blueberry, and strawberry shortcake. The French toast was my surprise winner. It was incredible! I also loved the blueberry. Good thing I bought two of those!! I'd totally return next time I'm in North Wildwood -- or any of the other shore towns where they have locations, for that matter. I'm sure it'll be an instant hit this summer if they keep up this momentum and enthusiasm. Good luck!

To be fair we did not actually get any donuts. I read all the great reviews and planned to go pick some up before my family woke up at Wildwood crest. I didn't realize that they are located on the boardwalk so I would have to pay $15 to park and then walk up to the stand. There was a super long line which only reflects that they must have wonderful donuts, but I wish I had realized it wasn't an easy pick up process. After waiting 30 min in line I decided to bail and went to Brittons bakery which was FABULOUS.

I've gotten donuts here a few time before and they are really good. Now here's the thing... Personally I'm good with just going to cheap Dunkin' buuuuut this is such a cool once in a while vaca place to go. They are expensive butttt very unique and fresh! They are really good but like I said, not an every day donut (they are very heavy) More of a special occasion

It's not just that the omelette was prepared with a light touch, but the home fries ... delectable. Not an also-ran, but truly, home fries as worthy of praise as the omelette they accompanied -- potato sliced so thin, tender, crusty crunchy parts in satisfying proportion. Perfect. Pull back from this superior breakfast plate, however, a couple of things worth noting. I found it startling that the toast served up with my omelette was only one slice of bread. I have never encountered this before. It was so unusual -- but makes sense when you think about it. How often is the second slice of toast wasted (guilty). And I bet that if you ask politely, you could get a second piece. Stella's is just that nice. A seaside eatery that might come off a bit too relaxed for its own good. Outside, attention-seekingg banners flutter, resembling a custard stand more than a place to get an excellent breakfast. Do not be deceived. Does Stella run a tight ship? Ummm ... the mimosa I ordered never came (no problem, I didn't really need it), But when our server realized the oversight ... c'mon, she was already giving so much mom energy, it was all completely okay. So here's the plan -- when you show up for Uncle Bill's and the wait is too long, find Stella's just a few blocks away. Brighter, lighter, stretch out and enjoy.

It happened to me a few summers ago until I learned my lesson that some people lined up at 6:30- 7 o'clock in the morning. They are creme doughnuts like the ones you had growing up in the 60s and 70s. Filled. Their corn fritters are to die for. Their sticky buns are very good.
