Each table is pre-positioned with glasses and still water. The lunch menu was limited, but had a good selection of burgers. My burger came with a mixture of sweet potato fries and potato fries. They have the best chicken nuggs in town, not that there's a huge market for this, but they've owned it regardless. It's definitely a grab and go type of place but that doesn't matter because you just order a chicken plate and then they pack up into a cardboard bucket thing a bunch of big giant chicken nuggs and fries. The chicken is hot and crispy and very flavorful. The fries are good too but not the main character (obviously).

Mackasinet has a choice of different sandwiches and salads (and also coffee and cookies). Perfect for that quick afternoon/late lunch snack when spending a whole day at the park. We had a "Västkust" (fresh shrimps) and a chicken/mangoraja - both were tasty but the chicken was mostly bread and dressing. It is just a small place but it is clean and pretty compared to Äteriet for instance. It is clean because there are no seatings. You either eat standing outside or across the street upstairs. They accept AMEX.

They have an extensive burger menu that also has veggie and vegan options, the vegan burger is one of my favorite and the double cheeseburger is my husbands favorite - but the most favorite is something called "animal fries" (In n Out copy cat??). It's saucy fries with onions, bacon and jalapeños. Something very ODD... the size of the fries is significantly smaller than the fries from the bastard burger located in Gothenburg? So if you're coming from Göteborg beware of the size difference I guess! Very easy to order online, pay, and pick up within about 10 mins!

The upstairs is a fairly nice restaurant. I've been here for drinks a few times with small and big groups. The downstairs area is definitely fun for late nights and even gave me the vibe of a team building -esque bar, which I think would be a good spot for that. The drinks themselves are fine, nothing extraordinary, and they had a pretty good selection of beer on draft downstairs.

There was a line of people near the opening time of 12pm, but apparently one is supposed to go upstairs to their 2nd floor and check in with the host and is given a buzzer. The buzzer will go off when it's your turn to order and then one can head down and place an order. Pricing for meats were in 100 gram increments (3.5 oz). I was eager to try the Brisket (115 Kr = $12), which works out to be $54 USD a pound. The meat had wonderful smoky flavor and was so tender and juicy. Burnt ends -(85 Kr per 100 grams), which works out to be $41 USD a pound. The meat wasn't as tender nor flavorful but still decent. Coleslaw - (60 Kr = $6.30 USD)- large - The coleslaw was creamy and refreshing. It paired well with the BBQ meats. Cornbread - (35 Kr = $3.66 USD) was crispy on the outside and slightly soft on the inside. It was decent, not the best that I had. Overall the brisket here tastes incredible with wonderful smoke flavor. It is pricey when compared to places in America, but at least there is a great BBQ option here.
