We stopped by the day of the eclipse and, like everywhere else in town, it was full of excited science nerds and locals. The decor was tasteful and the atmosphere was welcoming. The service was great and, even though it was busy, I didn't have to wait long for my drink. There were three dogs (at three separate tables)just hanging out, and they didn't bother anyone, but added to the calm atmosphere. Overall, it's a charming coffee shop in a charming town. read more

Popped in to support our local businesses and try the coffee our daughter craves after visiting us from California. The shop is so charming with indoor and patio seating. It has a minimalist industrial country charm and sits in old town close to Myrtle's and Haffy's. I tried the iced lavender honey cold brew and my daughter got a white chocolate blueberry iced latte. Honestly I don't go to coffee shops anymore because I make mine at home but this place is a game changer! The coffee was delicious and left hints of lavender when finished. I would definitely recommend popping in and trying them when you are in town. The service was great and she went the extra mile to make sure our coffee was flavored to our liking. I was recommended to visit Foxtrot Coffee by a Poplar Bluff native, and I'm so glad I stopped in! The modernistic coffee shop is surrounded by empty, abandoned and for sale buildings in downtown Poplar Bluff, but you wouldn't know that when walking inside. The coffee shop has a good amount of tables, chairs and couches to comfortably sit the amount of people who frequent it. Tying in with its name, the coffee shop is decorated with fox artwork displayed on the walls. The bathroom was clean. The barista was super friendly and recommended a drink for me. I ended up going with an iced chai latte, and it was delicious! It didn't taste like it was straight out of a chai latte carton at all. And I think the price was reasonable for the amount I received. Along with drinks, the coffee shop also had coffee beans and Foxtrot t-shirts for sale. I hope to visit again while on my trip! read more

Visiting from LA (I know eye roll) and this coffee shop holds up in comparison to my local LA shops. Baristas are amazing and friendly. From what I can tell the owners are not... :/. (Luckily this is not a requirement but would have made it 5 stars in my book). Perhaps I came in on a stressful day. I've been in 3 times total and overall a great experience. I was allowed to bring in my dog whilst ordering too!! Ethiopian pour over is amazing. Espresso tad darker than your average but still good. If you get a cap; specify less milk or you may get a latte.. depending on barista. Interior super charming feels like you're in NY.:)) read more

This shop is classy and clean. So, glad to find this place on a work trip working for Butler County. I visited 4 times over three days. Great coffee, helpful friendly staff. I don't waste my time on bad coffee. I stayed at the Hampton Inn but drove down here every morning, totally worth the trip. They are really trying to make downtown Poplar Bluff better. Best coffee in town by far! This is a very cool, chill place. Order any coffee, hot or cold, and it has the BEST flavor. Phillip and Rachel are so kind and down to earth. I love the hot salted caramel mocha or the cold brew with vanilla cream, ommyyum! They also offer cold drinks, pastries and bagels and schmear.
