My husband and I were going to spend some time touring Ireland and the Foxrock Inn was our first stop after Dublin. We made are accommodations via AirBNB and feel it would be better to review via Yelp so more visability. We were warmly greeted by Shaun upon our arrival and felt immediately at home. The home is in a very quiet and quaint village, but also off the main highway and outside of a larger town. We were guided to our room above the pub and the room was a wonderful size with very comfortable beds. The toilet was great and met all our needs. Marian, our hostess, was a lovely lady and their daughter Laura was the polite and perfect hostess with an inquisitive mind:) Yes, a few rooms are over their pub, but that is the experience and excitement in visiting a new country and meeting new people. The next 2 mornings, we ordered a full Irish breakfast which was delicious and there is much to be said with having a home-cooked meal. Thank you. We stayed 2 nights and would return in a heartbeat. We would highly recommend this charming B&B to family and friends. Thank you Shaun, Marian and Laura for creating such a wonderful and welcoming home to all who land their feet at your door. We look forward to seeing you again someday - until then: C'ead Mile Failte. :) read more
