Well, it's true, this girl is officially a college football fanatic! I've been to quite a few College Football Stadiums, so giving this stadium a review is warranted! Let's start off by saying how fantastic the fans are. Opening game we ventured to the square before going to the grove and we thought we were in a whole movie! I'm a Barbie girl in a Barbie world? Yeah, if you watched the movie Oxford, MS is giving natural beauty in the residents and guest who come here! On to the stadium, let's get into it! Fan Base - These rebels are dynamite! Super nice people and bet ya, they all say "Hotty Totty". Food Choices - Literally have anything you want! For those who are new, bottle sodas are in the lower section area, grab and go! Super convenient! Fountain Sodas? Go to the top! Seats - If you have no tooshie fret NOT. They rent out nice comfortable portable seats to enhance your experience and comfort. View - Clearly the Vaught has great donors so if you leave your eyeglasses at home you're in luck! They have BIG HUGE screens that you can look at! This little town makes their smaller stadium look BIG! Technology is on point! I can't complain! Kudos to this stadium.

A pretty decent basketball arena at Ole Miss in Oxford, MS. The seats are pretty small (zero leg…read moreroom) and it's just basically one level. From what I hear, a new arena is in the works. This one's kind of quaint in an Old School way, it gets loud, and wasn't ever too crowded. The folks working there were very nice and the fans were reasonably well behaved, though the game I was at was a total blowout for the home team (yay). The student section is "Club Red" where the students (only students) are supposed to sit, and are supposed to wear red. Many didn't wear red and were obviously not students. It was a day game, so maybe that's OK, but still, this is a tournament bubble team and I expected a bigger, louder crowd (at least while the game was close, which was for about 3 minutes in the first half). Concessions were standard and not any more exorbitantly priced than at most arenas. Plus it's in a great central location of the campus--easy to get in and out of (but only if you are walking--driving it's a nightmare). Hope they build the new one in the same spot.

We chose one for a bridesmaid with a newborn to be able to stay with her family, and the other as a place for my florist/director to stay. The only thing that could be better would be for that last spot to have rooms instead of one large open area. The grounds have several options for your perfect wedding spot. We chose outside of the main building overlooking a lake. Chairs were included. The rehearsal dinner was inside the barn area, which was quickly cleaned up to begin decorating for the reception. The tables and tablecloths were included. The kitchen was a good size and ice was provided. Indoor bathrooms were clean. To top it all off, the owners were fantastic. They helped cart guests from their cars to the main area. They checked in often to make sure we were okay. They followed up to make sure we didn't have any questions. They allowed us time to clean up on Sunday around our church time. We could even stay the night Saturday night. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The Wild West themed town across the street was a little country for me, but it proved a fun setting for guests to relax and the "saloon". 10 out of 10! We even rented tuxes from their other businesses and received a discount. We were able to leave the suits at the site and not have the hassle of returning them the next week.
