I did not play the course myself but came to watch the Susquehanna college golf team play. This is a pleasant course to walk through and it is very easy to navigate. We also grabbed lunch on site. One of my favorite public courses in the Lancaster area! Greens and fairways are always maintained wonderfully even in the dead of summer. Pro shop employees are personable and very nice. The price is also nice! Depending on what time you go, you can get a round of 18 in for under $40!Only thing that I can find to complain about would be the tee boxes. On occasion, they can be pretty hard and difficult to get a tee into. But, with even that, this course is fantastic. The course itself is relatively easy, but can offer challenges to golfers of all skill levels. 10/10. Highly recommend if you are in the area! read more

We just had our wedding here Labor Day weekend 2018 and couldn't imagine having it anywhere else! The ceremony area was beautiful, the pavilion was gorgeous, but the best part was the game area outside with all of the twinkle lights! We worked with Korrie before hand. I have played foxchase over 10 times during the past three years and visited again on Mother's Day. I received a pleasant surprise in the clubhouse when I found out that they gave my fiancé a free greens fee. I have really enjoyed this course over the years and really look forward to playing the course. Pros - This is a course that all levels of golfers can really enjoy. It is a challenging set up but not overly tough. Most holes allow for decent recovery options from wayward shots. The second hole is a drivable par 4 and the elevated tee shot on the par 5 7th hole allow for a eagle chance with a decent drive. The back 9 also has some memorable holes from the par 5 14th and the par 4 16th. This course is usually in pristine condition and the employees are always very helpful. Cons - normally the only con I would list for this course is that it is relatively short (5600 yards) from the blue tees. On this visit I noticed some maintenance issues that I have never seen at foxchase before. The 1st, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 11th and 14th holes all had significant bare spots on them. In addition the fairway of the 14th hole was spotted and looked diseased. Overall I still really like this course, and I am giving it 4 stars for past history as I believe they will correct the issues. With that being said I will not be back till I hear the issues above are corrected. read more

The course was in good shape however the greens were rock hard. A few holes were un puttable when your ball was above the hole. You just barley touch the ball and it rolls off the green. They knew this and tried to put most pins in the back. Very frustrating when you hit a Pro V 1 high with spin and rolls off the back of the green! read more
