The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the freaking 4th hole is out of order! It is a Par 5 too! I love my Par 5s, so I was pretty bummed that what would have been one of my favorite golf experiences (finally broke 100!) would have been practically perfect. The hole must be closed because of complaints from the people whose properties are right next to the hole. Their yards are just on the other side of a line of mostly bushes. There is about 15 feet of distance between the play area and where those yards "begin." I imagine players have hit a huge number of balls onto the property. I got to play at a discount, but I'm not sure that I would play there at full price with this situation and all. I really hope that they quickly erect a fence because the course is otherwise fantastic!

Review of Twin Ponds Golf Course…read more We had a 12:04 tee time with my husband and two 16-year-olds who are just learning the game. Because the course was packed, we played best ball to keep things moving -- and still, we were waiting on walkers in front of us at every tee box. Mind you, we were playing from the reds. By the 4th hole, the group behind had caught up. I explained we were waiting on walkers, only to be told we should "take longer between groups" because my husband hits long. Ok, noted. On the 6th hole (a par 5), we had to wait at least ten minutes for two groups ahead of us to clear. When it was finally our turn, we played our best ball into the middle of the fairway -- just a short pitch to the green. As we were setting up to take our next shots (literally as the walkers in front of us stepped off the green), an older couple came flying up in a cart, shouting that we were "slowing the whole course down." When I tried to explain the obvious -- that we were waiting on the groups ahead -- the man cut me off with, "We are the owners." Instead of showing any courtesy or addressing the poor scheduling, they picked a fight with us -- in front of my kids. Here's the kicker: on the 8th tee, after being told we were holding everyone up, my husband teed off a little quicker than usual. He drove the ball onto the green in one -- nearly hitting the very group in front of us. Someone could have been hurt because we were now anxious and in a hurry. My take, Mr. and Mrs. Owner: Your course is one of the worst-kept around. You're cash-only, which feels more than a little questionable. In an area surrounded by golf courses, you'd think you'd treat paying customers better. If you don't want backups, manage your tee times instead of berating families who are actually following etiquette. And Mrs. Owner -- maybe check your lipstick before shouting at patrons, it was all over your teeth and cheeks. Bottom line: you ruined what should've been a fun round for my kids. We'll gladly play elsewhere.

Maybe because we weren't regulars? I think my/our $80 is better spent on a course that understands golf and welccomes all customers.

Since a lot of it is rather open, I prefer not to go midday when the sun is beating down. Note that there are a LOT of steep hills, in case that's a problem for anyone in your party. There is also a nice playground, pavilions to rent, some of which are very nice, and tennis courts. The public bathroom is small and not amazing, but it's always been open when the park is open, and has the necessities.

We were here today for a birthday party for our 7 y o step-granddaughter. Very nice club with nice…read morepool. We were in the pavillion. They have a volleyball court, ping-pong tables, tetherball, swings for small kids. They have plenty of deck chair loungers. There is a small kiddie pool away from the main pool. Part of the main pool had an area for spring board dives and two lap lanes. There was a waterslide, and then a mushroom waterfall. Lifeguards were very attentive. There was a concession stand but we didn't check that out. They had all the typical things you see at a public pool. Nice changing rooms and plenty of parking. This is a club you pay a membership to. It's kind of tucked in away from main drag in Lititz. Our hosts could being their own food (pizzas) and birthday cake. Plenty of picnic tables. Was very clean and not run down.

The snack bar does not take cash anymore, which doesn't make sense because kids go there just with their cash to spend, and kids don't have cards or Apple Pay so they cannot get anything. 2. Pool bottom: the pool bottom is terrible; the floor makes your toes bleed and hurt, and the staff dont care about it.
