He's super friendly and was great to talk to. Got us some of their garden mix, 1 yard worth. He gave us some large plastic pots for us to haul the soil in our vehicle. Offered delivery but I figured for the amount of soil, I could handle it. The other employees were nice and friendly as well. They have a great place for tress and shrubs. It all seems organized and well kept. I'll definitely return based on the overall appearance of everything they had and the excellent staff they have.

They say they will stand behind them but not really true. Bought my mom a big plant for Mothers Day. It really never bloomed much and then died and dried up. My mom definitely has a green thumb. She tried to exchange it but no luck. So I went in to talk to them about a return for a different plant and was told sorry nothing we can do. You would think they would care more about regular customers buy I guess not. I was quite surprised they didn't really care. I won't ever go back and will be sure to share my experiences.

I have been a Mayflower customer for over 20 years. My visit today on 5/9/2020 marks the end of my…read morepatronage. Walking up to the entrance, two ladies were leaving looking distressed. We asked what was wrong and they explained that nobody would be allowed into the store without masks. I agreed it was silly, but I pulled my scarf up over my face and complied. As I approached the entrance, the recent male owner insisted I put on plastic gloves due to COVID-19. I said No, Thank You. He then angrily chastised me in front of about 10 employees and patrons, "If you're going to shop in my store you're wearing gloves! If I get sick, I won't be able to make a living! You're free to get your flowers elsewhere." It was very embarrassing--more so for him. My party as well as several others decided then and there that we would not be giving him our business. Hopefully it won't take a hit to his wallet for him to learn how to treat his [long-term] customers with dignity; and hopefully he'll do some research on simple health precautions instead of taking mainstream media sources as infallible truth.
