The vendors selling pastries tempted me, but I had a full breakfast before coming. Next time I will come to partake in beignets from one stand, and an eggy meal from another. There were many others to chose from too. One vendors was selling a huge variety of apples. He even had sweet Ambrosia apples. I came with a friend for a Yelp event. We left with a variety of micro greens from Yu's Farm Market. My friend said they were so much cheaper than the ones she buys from another farmers' market. Good to know! I will be back. My dog is enjoying his beef stick. He doesn't have very many teeth so I need to cut it up for him but all the same I will be back to buy another one on my next visit. This was probably the last gorgeous day of 2022, but this market is open year round. I'm willing to don my winter coat and return next month.

Over the years, we've done apple, strawberry, and blueberry picking here, but the fall pumpkin festival is the best. There are tons of activities for the little ones - hayrides, a corn maze, farm animals, and more. Tubby's BBQ is on-site if you need lunch. The line can be long, but it moves quickly. It is on the pricier side, but well worth it. The farm is beautiful, the experience is fun, and it's a wonderful way to get the kids outdoors.

This place is low on the variety of produce but high on friendliness, community camaraderie, and genuine love for the residents of Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg. Located in some random church's parking lot, this place is an endearing spot to pick out fresh fruits, vegetables, and chocolate croissants. Come here early (as soon as it opens!) so that you get first dibs. Also, be sure to park in the office park across the street, but beware as you cross Centerway Road because lots of people speed on that road. I also recommend that one apple farmer. I like apples. Then head over to Trader Joe's to spread some of dat creamy peanut butter all over dem apples.

They had open pet chicken barbecue and pulled pork. Also, they are giving out free donuts (glazed or powdered cream) and lemonade. My hubby wanted me to get him a powdered cream donut so he was disappointed when I brought it home and there was no cream filling. Fortunately, the coconut custard doughnut that I purchased was amazing. They did not skimp on the coconut or the custard for mine. Since my husband did not have any cream in his, I took some out of my doughnut, and it was still plentiful. I also got us two chicken halves, and a medium size of the Amish macaroni salad. I purchased a medium of the crustless chicken pot pie for myself. We both loved our chicken. It reminded us of the smoked chicken at Smoky Glen Farm. He thought the macaroni salad was sweet for his liking but since I have a sweet tooth, I loved it. I gave him a bite to try the chicken pot pie and it reminded him more of a chicken dumpling. I would've enjoyed it more if it had a crust. It's funny that my parents have lived in Germantown for decades, and I never shopped there.

My hubby and I caught the tail-end of the market and bought some treats to take home! Veg Heaven - Scrumptious vegan pastries particularly the moist and fluffy blueberry muffin! The banana muffin and apple turnovers are tasty too. While the bbq fried chicken sandwich was fun to try, it was dense and messy. The chocolate eclairs that I got from the Capital Harvest on the Plaza farmers market in DC was divine. The pastries rotate around different farmers markets, will have to check out their Tyson's location! Twin Valley Distilleries - The whiskey and flavored rum tasting was too tempting to pass up a bottle! The sweetness of the fresh juices perfectly masked the rum, cutting the alcohol content to 15% ABV. Refreshing and perfect for a warm summer day with a nice kick! We bought all 3 flavored rums at $25/each - Hibiscus Sorrel, Fruit Punch, and Pineapple. Potomac Sweets - The croissants and decadent pastries looked scrumptious! Although the pastries are stored in a glass display case, they are still baking under the sun and are dry and stale. The brownie was alright. Recommend grabbing a pastry here bright and early when the market opens. Senzu Juice - Refreshing cold-pressed juices. The "Refresh" Watermelon Mint juice is my favorite. Liberty Delight Farms - All sorts of dog goodies from raw bones to chunky pieces of dried beef heart and chicken/beef liver. Treat your dog at the market! Great place to grab some breakfast and some treats to take home!

Surprisingly I've never had a lobster roll prior to today. The lobster was good and the roll it came on was fantastic. Although, I enjoyed my sandwich I can't justify a $17 sandwich for lunch on a routine basis. There were plenty of food options but not enough farmers selling fresh produce. I counted only two farm stands, not including the micro greens guy. Parking was plenty and there was even live entertainment and covered seating provided. I would definitely recommend dropping by if you work in the area. Next time, I plan to pick up some of the unique popcorn that I noticed with interesting flavors.
