We left with a variety of micro greens from Yu's Farm Market. My friend said they were so much cheaper than the ones she buys from another farmers' market. Good to know! I will be back. My dog is enjoying his beef stick. He doesn't have very many teeth so I need to cut it up for him but all the same I will be back to buy another one on my next visit. The sweetness of the fresh juices perfectly masked the rum, cutting the alcohol content to 15% ABV. Refreshing and perfect for a warm summer day with a nice kick! We bought all 3 flavored rums at $25/each - Hibiscus Sorrel, Fruit Punch, and Pineapple. Potomac Sweets - The croissants and decadent pastries looked scrumptious! I told the gentleman manning the booth I was curious what he was offering and he provided me a quick overview and the availability to sample some of the greens. I circled the market and made my way back to pick up a container of yummy sorrel micro greens. I also stopped at the fish truck and ordered the lobster roll. Surprisingly I've never had a lobster roll prior to today. The lobster was good and the roll it came on was fantastic. Although, I enjoyed my sandwich I can't justify a $17 sandwich for lunch on a routine basis. There were plenty of food options but not enough farmers selling fresh produce. I counted only two farm stands, not including the micro greens guy. Parking was plenty and there was even live entertainment and covered seating provided.
