Specifically, these folks just is an incomparable team of outstanding news personalities that makes my daily grind: Ellina Abovian ... Gayle Anderson ... Frank Buckley ... Wendy Burch ... Cher Calvin ... Rick Chambers ... Ginger Chan ... Kimberly Cheng ... Samantha Cortese ..., Wow! You really tend to make these news folks become part of your routine and embed them as part of your consciousness. In essence, they become part of your family, eventually. While other news channels just deliver their own programming accordingly, KTLA 5 is just uniquely curated to provide local folks, just the right informational updates that is timely, relevant, and totally local and national. I get so excited whenever I get a chance to go to Los Angeles Center Studios. It's a cool vibe that…read morehas hints of Hollywood nostalgia. To get on the premises you have to be in their system. The security guards an amazing, professional and very nice. Walking towards the doors to the lobby you can see police signs from certain tv shows and films that are produced there. Inside the lobby there's comfortable seating, a television and then it's the concierge desk. If you need the elevator the concierge will help you get to your destination. After talking to the concierge I didn't need the elevators. I just had to walk through the lobby and when you exit you are ground level where there's signs for what production is filming in a specific stage. The stages are huge and it's amazing the creativity some of these tv/film/commercial companies can construct: a mini mansion, basketball court with bleachers and event the inside of a courthouse to name a few. When evening falls you get a beautiful view of downtown Los Angeles with all of the sky scrapers nicely lit up. The inside of main building is very fun with healthy motivation statements in the stairwell, the hallways have fun 1980s style carpeting and the walls/doors are bright and colorful. There's a fun buzz of hard working production staff getting ready for filming and the cool chill ease from the students that are taking classes here. Los Angeles Center Studios has filming opportunities, meetings, fittings and also host social events like Black On The Block. Which is like an independent flea market and networking. You'll probably have to check their website for the dates to play. I really like this venue!

We did the actual filming at the sound stages, which were spacious and professionally equipped. As a woman working long hours in the DTLA area, I especially appreciated the onsite security services -- they were attentive, well-informed, and knew exactly who was scheduled to be where and when. The parking facility felt secure, and lobby security's control over the main elevators added an extra layer of safety and organization. The vibe of the entire site felt professional and well-run, with a clear focus on keeping things efficient and safe. Would definitely work here again.

There are several things not just one that I would like to make a difference on, one being to help house the homeless and find therapist to donate their time to help with their mental wellbeing, two would be to help our veterans find housing and affordable health care for them & help them integrate back into society, three to help bring a cure for cancer for both adults and especially Children. I can go on & on. I was greeted with respect and support from the staff here & the producer's meet me as I was headed to my dressing room and filled me in on the do's & don't during the interview and gave me a heads up on the questions that would be asked & I informed them that my personal life is off limits. The interview was outstanding now we'll see what was cut & edited by the time it airs

I watched the entire DVD TV series and three of the DVDs didn't have English Subtitles! What did I do? I called mvibo first, but to my dismay-I left countless messages for the mvibo department to return my phone call from August until December 2011. I waited FOUR months for someone to return my phone call and NOBODY from mvibo EVER returned my phone call! I had business errands in LA, so I decided, I'd bring my DVDs and exchange at mvibo the bogus DVDs for the NEW DVDs possessing English subtitles. Anyway, this KBS building appeared dishevelled, severely out-dated, and riding inside the elevator was sketchy. I visited the mvibo department, but the Korean Dudes who worked in the DVD replicating department spoke very little English, so I had to speak in Korean=Hangugo ! It's amazing I could speak enough Korean for the Dudes to understand my problem I experienced with the DVDs I purchased online! So, the mvibo/KBS America Dudes said they'd send me another set. I received my DVDs on January 3, 2012. I haven't played the new DVD set, so I'll let you know if the new DVDs has English subtitles or not.

I had to drive a friend here for their interview, and was met with the most unpleasant experience…read moredue to their incompetent staff and security. Upon exiting, their security guard decided to drop the gate down on my car. The owner of the station, Pat, was in contact and informed me that her crisis division would follow up with me to handle the situation. After one initial talk with her she then disappeared. Their security also took no responsibility. Between the staff and the owner, it's absolutely absurd. Not only are they spreading false news and so so narratives, but they clearly lack any ability to take responsibility for their actions.

This is truly amazing…read more When I toured the place, it gave me goosebumps in a great way, as a Scientologist I can see Scientology and Dianetics reaching millions more! I donated a lot of my income to this facility and it has definitely met my standards. I can't wait until it fires up! The fact that this is where LRH actually produced one of his motion pictures in the 30-40 era, it just makes sense why Scientology would have this facility in this building.
