We have been recently been seeing Dr. Ramirez-Chung and she is wonderful as well. All the providers are knowledgable and willing to spend the time needed to give the best care. The staff are always kind and helpful. The location is convenient, the office is clean and updated and wait times are short.

No warmth. No thoroughness. Little to no emotional intelligence. It felt like a typical, rushed, get-em-in-get-em-out, get-em-vaccinated pediatric practice with little attention to bedside manner, partnership with parents and little to no discussion of nutrition and other non-medical health-related factors. I found Dr. Liebermann to be brusque and condescending every time my child's appointment was with her. I've experienced this at times with other doctors, and as a scholar I am aware of patterns of less than optimal medical attention offered along with condescending attitudes towards black patients, and in the case of pediatricians, to black parents. Dr. Weiss was a little more friendly and warm. However, I was never comfortable at this practice with my family. My family has worked with warmer, more thoughtful doctors in other places and we settled for a few years with this practice until we got what we needed and left. Not recommended despite its apparent (and surprisingly, in my view) good reputation.

With three young children, including a three-year-old daughter and twin boys under one year old, having a pediatric practice we trust is incredibly important. This team has made a significant difference in helping us navigate parenthood with confidence. The location is ideal, and what stands out most is how well the practice combines a warm, family-oriented atmosphere with the capabilities of a larger institution. The systems, communication, and overall expertise provide real peace of mind, especially in a fast-paced, modern environment. We regularly see Dr. DiBardino and Dr. Barkan, both of whom have been excellent. However, every provider we've met has been thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Whether it's routine check-ups or last-minute needs when a child is sick, the team remains consistently responsive and accommodating. They've also been incredibly helpful with administrative tasks, including daycare forms and other requests that naturally arise with young children. Support is always prompt, and guidance feels practical, measured, and never overbearing. Billing has also been fair and transparent, which we sincerely appreciate. One other point worth mentioning: some of the criticisms in other reviews seem unrealistic. This is clearly a high-volume, high-functioning practice serving many families, and that requires efficiency and decisiveness from the front desk and support staff. Any occasional shortfall should be viewed in that context. From our perspective, the practice operates with professionalism, urgency, and competence, which is a big part of why it's so effective. It's hard to imagine a better pediatric experience. Their additional locations in Fishtown and Bala Cynwyd only add to the convenience and flexibility. We're grateful to have found this practice and would highly recommend it to any family with young children. They provide excellent care for our kids, and by extension, our entire family.

That said Dr Berger has cared for my daughter since her birth 12 years ago. He is a model of a physician, as is the entire practice. It is superbly responsive. In this instance (which causes me to post reviews), Dr Berger called on a holiday to inquire about my daughter. But he has always been like that. He is extremely knowledgeable, and he has excellent bedside manner with both my child and her parents. He really sets the standard.

Patient Review by: John F…read more Firstly, I want to say that my experience was one of the best I've ever had at any hospital. I don't visit hospitals often, but from the moment I arrived, I felt comfortable. During my checkup and temperature check, the staff made sure I felt at ease. A special thanks goes to Dr. Lucy, who calmly drew my blood more than once and gave me the courage to get through it without screaming or crying. She even gave me a heating pack afterward, which was a really thoughtful touch and made me feel like I had some control over the situation. Knowing I was in such capable hands made me feel safe and cared for. I also want to give honorable mentions to: Tech worker Michelle Lee O (I think that was his name; he was a white-skinned male with a really cool sleeve tattoo) Maggie (a tech worker with around 2 years of experience, if I remember correctly) They all did an excellent job making me feel comfortable while waiting and during my visit. I also want to recognize the unnamed staff who interacted with me respectfully and made me feel heard whether it was part of their job or not, it made a big difference. Overall, I felt listened to, respected, and well taken care of, and I truly appreciate everyone who made my visit so positive.

From the very beginning, he showed not only incredible skill but also genuine compassion. He checked in on our daughter every chance he got, always making sure we felt informed and reassured. His calm, caring nature put us at ease during such a stressful time, and his dedication to her recovery was evident every step of the way. The surgery went perfectly, and we couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Dr. Devlin is truly an exceptional doctor, and we feel so fortunate to have had him caring for our daughter. Dr. Devlin, thank you so much for the wonderful care you gave our daughter. Your kindness, attentiveness, and excellent work with her surgery mean the world to us. You're the BEST! It was my first time ever being in CHOP. She's been coughing at night and sneezing at wake up almost everyday. Her primary doc couldn't find any allergies from a blood test (needed to know what exactly you wanted to test). The allergist did a more broad skin test. To my surprise nothing positive. She even did a asthma test and again nothing. What is a problem are her tonsils and adenoids. I knew they were large but she showed me where the back of my daughters nose canal was narrow because of her adenoids. We'll do a trial period for steroids but I think surgery will be the answer, since she hasn't grown into them by now and this is persistent.
