I am vegetarian and they had 3 different choices of main meals to go with your Sunday dinner, they were also more than happy to make me some vegetarian gravy up! This is not the fault of pub I realise that. TV screens were on the tables next to the wall all displaying football and their volumes were turned up so it made talking very difficult. My partners said her veg was cooked very nice but the meat seemed as though is was from a cheap cut of beef. Beer selection was good. The Lurcher is situated in a nice area. After ordering I said to the…read moreserver (a very loud and blunt man) "as we have ordered three meals can we have a take out pizza?" (they have done this several times before). Server replied "sorry pal, you have to do this when you order. Too late now" As I was walking off from the bar he shouted after me "you should remember for next time". 2 issues. 1. The first time I went here we had a great server who actually came to my table to tell me we were entitled to a take out pizza after we had ordered. 2. What difference does it make if he has already put the order through? It's simply an order to the pizza chef and ingredients. Luckily with plenty of other places to eat locally I won't have to come back.
