I paid them a $1000 retainer, and we spent at least an hour discussing the issue and our options. One of the recommendations Todd made was to recruit a faculty representative to assist us, which we did. My son had a series of short phone calls with Todd, and Todd assisted us with the paperwork needed to assure the best possible outcome. Todd's recommendations were, as the Brits say, "spot on" - he really understands both the theory and the practice of OU policy and procedures. The outcome was, as he suggested, "the best possible, under the circumstances." I was aware that we had unlikely used all $1000 of our retainer, but the outcome was so good, and my 40-year business experience with other attorneys was so poor that I didn't expect a refund, and didn't request one.
