The people at thr museum store suggested tat we go to their studio. We arranged to do this and we're greeted warmly when we arrived. We spent several delightful hours with them as he showed us the process. The pieces we looked at were awesome, ultimately we purchased five of their glasses. We couldn't decide which not to buy. The glasses exquisite,, easy to hold, correct size and wonderful to lo9k at. Our children have admired them for years. This year we decided to give one of them a set as a Christmas gift. The process was easy. I asked that there be substantial ble in the decoration. When our daughter unwrapped the package she was beyond delighted. They took great pains to ship them so that they would arrive in time manner, they did. This time they had to choose which ones to send, with very little guidance. The ladies in charge will gladly chat you up and help you find anything you need (I called looking for specific make-up, and when I showed up an hour later, it was already waiting at the counter for me). Apparently they even make custom orders, and all prices are Woah, reasonable. The most expensive rental there is $65 with most being around $40 - and we all know the tacky, plastic crap-in-a-bag costumes at the mall cost that much and are junk - so it's totally worth it to have an authentic outfit for the same price. It's only about 30 minutes from Portland, so pull out the GPS and check it out. Just be prepared to go when you have plenty of time - there's thousands of costumes to check out, and you're bound to get sucked in. Thanks Drapeau's!
