He doesn't put himself on a pedestal. He admits he is flawed and challenged like the rest of us. Everyone is invited to have as much input as they would like. Questions are invited after the sermon (officially the Q&A section). And if you have a talent, want to be involved in worship planning, teach kids classes, you will be welcomed and supported. The Feast is very service oriented. We have partnered with refugee groups, crossroads and are always looking for more ways to contribute. The Feast is there to walk with you in your faith. You are not expected to go any faster or do any more than you are ready for.

All the staff have been so kind. I went to Waters Church by myself for the first time about 6-7months ago. I've seen OSBC make positive…read morechanges with the times but change came with lots of prayer and input from administration and the congregation. I've not seen those changes compromise any biblical standards. No one is turned away from attending OSBC because of their religious affiliation. I attended a mid-week bible study at OSBC and had no idea that Catholics attended that same bible study. During the bible study discussion, someone mentioned that she attends the bible study because her Catholic church doesn't have that type of resource and she felt encouraged coming to the OSBC bible study. She was welcomed with open arms despite her religious background. If you're looking to develop a closer, more personal relationship with God, I encourage you to attend a service and allow God to do the rest. Feel free to mask up if that makes you more comfortable. I finally let God into my heart and the support has been indescribable. Pastor Mike is welcoming,friendly and available. I also have enjoyed hearing John and Dereks sermons in Mikes absences. The members here are supportive and friendly. Always a good morning and how are you. They offer tons of groups, including a 13 week grief group. I did not complete the entire program but the weeks I attended helped me greatly. They offer a highly secure center during services. This Church strives to spread the word of God but never feels pushy. They do so much in the community. I am proud to be on my way to Baptist and membership at Ocean State.

Very down to earth and most importantly of sound doctrine. The people are super welcoming and super friendly. They work alot with the youth and take them into account, they make the youth know they are important to God. I can't reccomend this church enough. I have had my share of disappointments and I was close on giving up on church all together but I continued to search and came here. Services are bilingual in Spanish and English.

I had read about the Coptic Church and watched a YouTube video of their Eucharistic Liturgy, so…read morewhen my wife and I drove past in Western Cranston, we stopped so I could see if the church was unlocked on a Saturday morning. Unlocked and more! About 20 adults and 10 children were attending the Divine Liturgy at a side chapel. incredibly cute little girls and boys who ran around but never made any noise. A young man came over to me and invited me to sit/stand with everyone else, and gave me a missal with English and Coptic (but in Arabic Script). The congregation alternated with the priest in a measured chanting. It was wonderful, seeming to reach into my body and soul. At the time of the Peace everyone around me exchanged a sliding handshake with me. I stayed behind at the time of Communion. When the priest sprinkled the congregation with holy water, he specifically made the sign of the Cross on my forehead with the water. After the Service, I chatted with the young man whose English was unaccented Rhode Island and went to kiss the priest's hand-cross. I had asked about receiving the blessed but UNconsecrated bread and was told that only those Baptized as Coptic Orthodox did so. It was moving, dignified without pretention. If I could have asked for more, it would have been to have seen Coptic style ikons as I have in books, but the place was tastefully understated and the pictures were Western style paintings.
