One of our regular visitors is an Astronomy club from Canada. We have also hosted a painting workshop, a few company retreats, a Biking Group, as well many family reunions. Our family spent Thanksgiving in Portal and this was a great facility in one of the prettiest…read moreplaces in North America. My son lives in the area and suggested this facility for our November get together and everyone in our extended clan found this to a real gem. I would highly recommend the Portal lodge and cafe/general store just up the road. While there, be certain to stroll over to the post office and library. The cottages were both neat and clean, my experience was much different from the previous poster in 2016.
