Cummins Station is a destination of which Nashvillians should take note. The landlords have thought of everything: the building houses, food, drink, banking, commerce, art, and can even double as an inventive event space. As the city (re)builds itself around this area, Cummins Station will become even more important and desirable as an address. Depending on which side/window you're looking out at, you can see the Frist, the Convention Center (and all those hotels) or The Gulch. Cummins Station central location makes it a convenient place to dip out of the elements and get a taste of Nashville that may not get as much attention as other spots. Parking is easy, if not very cheap. You can either parallel park next to the building or park (with greater ease) in the lot across from the building. Most building tenants validate parking but validation doesn't last all day. Get in and out within a couple of hours or pay (at least) $6. This review may not be the most thrilling I've ever written but I think it's important to highlight the businesses that make up the fabric of our favorite neighborhoods. In an era in which it might have been trendy to knock the building down and put something new and trendy in its place, the owners had to foresight to incorporate a piece of old Nashville and weave it into the fabric of the here and now. That's worthy of a review. If you haven't checked out Cummins Station, find a reason to do so. I think you'll enjoy the architectural design and detail and you're sure to find a business you'll want to patronize again and again.

The stairs and entry ways need redoing and trash pickup is inconsistent but I loved living here. On to my move out experience: I had to break my lease due to my job ending. At first I was going to take the option where you pay three months and be clear because there was 18 units on the market but before turning in the almost $5000, I checked the site and my apartment E302 was no longer listed. I went in to inquire and there was an application out on my apartment. This was good news for me so I'm changed to paying $150 to break lease and pay for vacant days. The manager (Tiffany) was annoyed and went on to tell me over and over why I needed to pay the 3 months and be done because the application may fall through or the applicant may back out. She was very adamant about I'm making a mistake. I let her know I understood but I'll take a chance. Thankfully, someone moved in on August 16th. I knew I would have to pay the $150 plus half of month rent but they also charged me $80 late fee for August plus the new tenants rent is $10 cheaper than what I was paying so they told me I have to cover the $10 difference since my rent was more. That was another $60 charged for the months of September to February when my original lease was up. Aurora was pleasant the whole time but the manager's demeanor changed right away. Posting this so folk are aware of the good and bad.

They contacted Boro Plumbing and within a day I was called and an appointment was set. I sent videos of the issues happening and was greeted with courtesy and professionalism. Will and Savage arrived when they said (notifying me of their delay because of their previous assignment). They were polite, kind, respectful and did all the repairs and even cleaned up after themselves as many do not!! I highly recommend this business. And by the way I was surprise how young, yet skilled they are!
