We can't thank this mechanic enough for helping us during our Alaska trip in our Ford Transit…read moreTrail. While driving on a dirt road, we suddenly heard a terrible metallic grinding noise coming from the left front wheel and genuinely thought our trip was over. He immediately took the time to inspect the van, removed the wheel, and spent nearly two hours carefully diagnosing the issue. He discovered that a factory-installed bolt had never been properly tightened and was stuck in the brake rotor. After fixing the problem, he made sure everything was safe and got us back on the road. We are incredibly grateful for his honesty, expertise, and dedication. Instead of rushing the job, he took the time to find the root cause and ensure our van was safe to drive. He was friendly, honest, and genuinely cared about helping us, which made a stressful situation so much easier. It's rare to find someone with this level of integrity and professionalism. He truly saved our trip, and we couldn't recommend him more highly. If you're looking for a trustworthy mechanic who knows his stuff and goes above and beyond for his customers, look no further. Thank you for your outstanding service!

Cory and the rest of the folks at Benchmark saved our Alaska road trip from a brake meltdown!…read more Traveling up from the Idaho border, we started to notice some noise coming from the brakes. At our next stop, had a local shop check the brakes and found they needed new front pads. However, the shop there would not have been able to fit us in for four days, which would have completely scrambled our plans. So, started calling shops ahead on our route to see if anyone could help us out. The minute Cory picked up the phone, I knew we were in competent hands. I explained the problem and told him we'd be in Prince George in a couple of days. He said "no problem", asked a couple of the right questions, and told me he could order pads to be ready when we got there. A couple days later, I rolled into Benchmark at 8 AM when they opened. Met Cory and the rest of the crew, and they told me they'd get right on it. They had me out and on the road by 10 AM, and much relieved at their helpfulness and conscientiousness. If I lived in Prince George, they'd be my regular shop!
