After all of our friends, family, & loved ones struggled being rescued by boats, homes & businesses destroyed, most of us without normal electricity, & our stores & businesses closed from being several feet under water, I somehow was able to get to an area to check my emails by phone (no service at home) & see some from Dögel GmbH, a company in Germany, notifying me that I have so many days left to renew my service/membership w/them. Along with this, both our children & myself had come down with serious health issues, mine severely limiting physical activities. We no longer had our Rottweilers, plus we never ever fully utilized our services with Dogel GmbH. After still going through horrific natural disaster at that time, I chose to cancel my service & replied back to their email to do so. The next time I checked my emails I found a very ugly, unprofessional email ordering me to pay, or else! I have never experienced such horrible treatment by a service company in all my life. And this has to be illegal to force unwanted future services for another 3 years & make customer pay when they requested several times that service be cancelled. I would never recommend getting involved with anyone who does business in this manner. They are still harassing me & bullying me to try to force me to pay for next 3 years of service. I am afraid that I may never get away from them & they will continue to do this to me the rest of my life. I would urge others to use extreme caution or avoid getting entangled in any paid services from them. Not sure if this is some sort of scam or the real company, as email was in not so good broken English, & so abusive in nature. It's hard to believe an honest company would act in thus manner, not just converse normally in a polite, more dignified manner. I would think a company, instead, would value its customers & want to find out reason for cancelation & then try to entice them to stay involved in some form. So now I am not sure if I am really going to be sued, which I don't know how I can be sued for future use that I requested to be cancelled. Completely ludicrous!!!
