It is easier to explore on the pedestrian only streets that crisscross on an uneven grid in the bazaar. It is fun to explore and small enough not to get lost. No matter if you do get lost because the shop keepers are very kind and will happily point you in the right direction if you get lost. I really enjoyed the more relaxed atmosphere in this bazaar as opposed to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul where some shop keepers have a more aggressive haggling style. Most of the tourists I saw were Turkish, which is always a good sign. If Turkish tourists are browsing it means that there is a less of a chance of it being a tourist trap where the artisans cater only to foreign tourists.

Just use a translation app on you phone and all is well. :)
