The copper plates come in all sizes with handmade or stamped designs. The handmade designs are much more expensive then the stamped designs. It is easier to explore on the pedestrian only streets that crisscross on an uneven grid in the bazaar. It is fun to explore and small enough not to get lost. No matter if you do get lost because the shop keepers are very kind and will happily point you in the right direction if you get lost. I really enjoyed the more relaxed atmosphere in this bazaar as opposed to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul where some shop keepers have a more aggressive haggling style. Most of the tourists I saw were Turkish, which is always a good sign. If Turkish tourists are browsing it means that there is a less of a chance of it being a tourist trap where the artisans cater only to foreign tourists.

You can buy loads of electronic devices here, flat screen TVs, computers, etc. Be aware that a lot if software and instructions are in Turkish. The staff here will help you navigate those waters... Whenever you can find someone who can speak English. Best advice is to know what you want beforehand and do try to get all the answers you need online.

The manager gave me sunflower seeds to give to the parrot who tried one seed and then tried my finger. It was a strong bite, but not meant to hurt. I think it was a warning. Like the parrot was say " I'll take your seeds, but I won't like it." Go to the cave cafe in the back. Very cool.
