We entered the mall at the Salvatorpassage. This is where the famous "hanging gardens" are located. In the Viscardihof there is a huge sphere made out of steel mesh and the Prannerpassage has the beautiful glittering glass sequins on the ceiling. The stores offer everything from fashion, cosmetics, jewelry, home goods and everything in between. You can stick with the chain stores or enjoy specialized boutiques. Dining options are endless. You can enjoy a light bite in a cozy cafe or dine in a trendy high end restaurant.

It's been around for a few years and we go here from time to time. It's conveniently located very close to Odeonsplatz and is easily accessible by public transport. The main halkway is decorated with hanging vines and is lit up with loads of hanging lights. The prices are expensive in general but then again high end brands usually are :-) I love the kitchen shop in here as they have some amazing cookware and cool gadgets :-)) I have been to a couple of the food places here and they were quite ok. Here's my English review…read more I was heading over to Café Wölfl this morning to grab some pastries for breakfast, when I noticed they were closed. Couldn't decifer the German language as to why. So I wandered around and also checking Yelp! to find a backup. I remembered seeing the Motorama, but didn't know what is was, so I headed there. The Motorama is a small indoor shopping plaza with several shopping and dining options if you are in a pinch. There are also 2 levels of shopping. The lower level connects to the Rosenheimer Platz S-bahn station, which is convenient. The one place that I was most interested in was the bakery there. IHLE was all I caught in the name, but once you see it, you'd be amazed at what delectables they offered. They have apple strudels, mango strudels, croissants, cinnamon rolls, cheese cakes, breads, and sandwiches, and many more. Opt to come here than peruse the small selections at the Hilton café. Other stores there included a Hong Kong grocery store, Hit and Aldi chain grocery stores, sports store, clothing store, lottery/tobacco store. For eating, there was also a Subway restaurant, a cafe, a Middle Eastern place that has gyros and doner kababs, and a Chau Bistro Chinese Restaurant. This is a pretty convenient location as it's across the street from the Hilton.

But it's pretty expensive, so not every day. The grocery store Edeka is currently renovating, but not to far from there is a Lidl where you can get your groceries. Anyway, the mall is very selective with its lots of shops, which is perfect for meeting friends for a shopping day, e.g. DM, Pommes Freunde, Döner, H&M and more. Their service is great, they are very helpful, very pleasant visit every time.

This is a shopping centre. It's not a browsing centre…read more You come here to go to one of the two supermarkets, the drugstore, Media Markt, the fitness club. And then you go home. That said, it is a superbly efficient and high-class shopping centre, and each one of those supermarkets, drugstores, big-box retailers or gyms is best-of-breed. Even the so-called "Whopper Bar" is meant to be a cut above the average Burger King. The only shop that might detain me is that curious high-class car showroom around the back, for which I haven't yet quite figured out the raison d'etre. Since I'm a buyer, and not a shopper, this place suits me perfectly.

This morning I went to Fitness First located at dasEinstein in Munich. I validated my parking coin at the fitness studio, but on the way out of the parking, the machine did not accept my coin and the bar did not lift. I pressed the emergency button and explained the situation. The person on the line just kept repeating that I needed to validate my coin. I left my car there and returned to the validation station at the gym and got a message that said that it had been already used (vergütet). I tried again to go out and did not work. I called the emergency line, they sent someone and they only kept repeating that the coin must be valitaded. So, I tried yo pay but then got a message that said "Nachzahlung nicht möglich". I called one more time begging the person on the line to let me out (by this time there was another car behind me trying to go out). The person on the line insulted me saying he could not help me when I was so stupid not to understand that the coin has to be validated. Eventually, he agreed to send someone. In the meantime, I kept inserting the coin several times and suddenly the bar miraculously lifted. Obviously there is a technical problem with the coins, validation station or the machine at the way out. These things happen and it is completely understandable. What I do not comprehend, is the rudeness of the personnel and the unwillingness to assist. They preferred to leave other drivers trapped for a long time than to open the gate for me.

If you work close to the old Munich airport this mall is the only opportunity for lunch and…read moreshopping. There are a variety of food outlets which prepare inexpensive lunches and take aways. Nevertheless, even though this mall looks pretty new the mall and fashion boutiques cater towards a vey specific target group. If you try to find something special it is probably much better to look for it in downtown Munich.

If you're near Marienplatz @ that whole are, You have to take the underground metro/ subway. It's not hard. One way ticket costs euros 2.90 and it's off the U5 line. The store is in a mall that has all sorts of other shopping options. If you want to do some serious shopping, it's worth it to take a few hours out & trek here. This store is 3 levels. Home goods, men's, women's & children's clothes & all sorts of makeup, skincare & other accessories. Quality is great if u compare it to Walmart or other discount stores in the US. Prices are very low esp considering the taste, quality & fit of the clothes. I docked a point off cause I waited in checkout line for ever. Like 30 mins. Also place is a bit of a mess later in the day & didn't see employees putting items back together. No bathroom too folks. You have to pay euros .50 to use the main restroom in the mall. That's just not cool. I get that it's a European thing, but still totally uncool.
